Interesting, and certainly right about Vogue, etc. covers, but aren't "up-market, fashion conscious, watch buyers for whom I suspect the features are secondary to the style and image of the thing" those chaps, not women? Aviator watch owners aren't pilots, for instance. They're men who like that style. Women, in comparison, like nice looking, practical (timekeeping) devices, no? Also, which ones are the "butch versions"?

Sorry to hear about the Eye-Fi. Was always curious about their products. I'm basically looking for a EOS M with faster AF (and I'm good with a prime). Something with a significant IQ advantage over the iPhone 6+ (which admittedly with its optical stabilization I'm increasingly happy with), but not the hassles of the dp2 Quattro + tripod. If you don't find the A's AF gets in the way that may just be it.

Analog Ant Watch

The iPod is 14 years old this year too. These landmark dates are tough. When they celebrated 30 years of E.T. a couple years back I cringed. Jaws is now four decades old.
