Um, I think the article has gone a bit too much into reading why Americans say it that way. I am not US-born, but I consider myself Americanized since I was pretty much raised here. That said, I'd like to take the Occam's Razor approach on this one, and simply say that the "s" is added at the end because Americans think of plural forms with "s" at the end. Cars. Trucks. Planes. Headphones. Amps. That's just my take on it. No mystery. Grammatically it may still be wrong, but I think that is the most sensible explanation, IMO.

This brings back memories! That said, I will take this opportunity to say that I think Legos are one of the most awesome toys ever created. Sure I had the GI Joes, the Transformers, the TMNT, but I always kept coming back to Legos. They were a constant source of inspiration for me to invent a robot, a dinosaur, a spaceship, and figure out how to build it. When I have kids, regardless of whether boys or girls, and what the future wife buys for them, there WILL be Legos.

Vicky, have you found a routine that works for you or are you just kind of winging it? It's important to change things until you find something you ar comfortable with and that gives you results. Also, don't fall into over-training. The body needs time to rest so it can heal. I wouldn't do the same sets/work out same muscle groups every day. Anyway, congrats on all of you for hitting the gym and going for a better diet. Also, DO NOT go by how much weight you lose. This, sadly, goes mostly unheeded by women. Shedding weight does not always equal getting healthier. If you lose one pund of fat, but gain one pound of muscle, you are doing better than the person who lost ten pounds of lean body mass by starving.

Hell, I think I am the only one here who likes the GS1000 enough to keep it, despite the fact that most here would give me a bag of chips in trade for it. Half full too. Btw, don't ask me for advice. I am an ignoramus and still learning the ropes on this hobby.

It's curious how photo angles affect the way the amp looks: Were it not for points of reference in the pictures, I'd swear that in the first two pics it looks like the tube portion slants backwards!

I ran into this problem yesternight and this morning, paying for some CD's. The thing is, the problem persisted when I highlighted and pasted the email address into paypal. When I typed it manually, it worked. I don't know if it was by luck that it went through when I typed manually, but maybe that has something to do with it? Also, I will be back this week. Yay!
