  1. Dang, there's a birthday almost daily here! WOOOT! Happy B-day!
  2. I drew today. =)
  3. Can I use it as personal lubricant... shit gets HOT, yo!
  4. btw, a bit off-topic, but I reme, ber I bought some Arctic silver thermal compound and didn't use up all of it. This was about four years ago. I'm pretty sure I have it in my big ol' box of misc stuff. Anyhow, does that shit expire? I wouldn't think so, right? I mean, if it did, we'd have to be "re-gluing" the chip all the time, no?
  5. That... that is true happiness.
  6. Get the experience. It is much MUCH easier than you think! I built a gaming rig on my own as my first pc build, and it was smooth sailing. The way they make pc connectors is pretty much idiot-proof... almost, anyway. Just make sure your PSU has enough juice for everything.
  7. If you can afford it, try to get a modular PSU (the ones that let you pick how/what cables to hook up for internals). Not only will the build look neater, but fewer cables means better airflow and better routing of them inside the case.
  8. Check Antec regularly for B-stock items. If I was in the market, I'd certainly go for this: Antec.com - Product: THREE HUNDRED I've previously bought Antec B-stock cases twice, and wasn't disappointed.
  9. Some people just know all the magic words...
  10. Managed to convince a head-fier to post internals of the Japan version. Can we get the experts to chime in? Luxman P-1 Internal Pics (100V Version) - Head-Fi.org Community
  11. Catching up on movies I always wanted to see... which brings me to this: I had never seen "Clockwork Orange." I found it a bit curious that in the movie (taking my own name and handle into account), the main character's name is Alex. Not to mention that the technique they used to punish him made him feel sick when listening to music, specifically classical, which he loved so much. I've thought of buying a derby hat before... ... =/
  12. Now I find this very interesting, especially since Wyred also has the DAC-1 which is supposed to be the same as its bigger brother minus the hi-rez playback. But that's a moot point for me as all my digital music is redbook extracted. I also like the Wyred's small foot print (looks like the Bel Canto DAC3). I don't need flashy touchscreens adding to cost...
  13. Reks, that thing you posted looks like a turd.
  14. There's a loaf missing...
  15. You are the 3rd person to have said the same thing. I must be doing it wrong.
  16. Easy on the wallet solutions: Cyberguys.com - Search Results for cable organizer
  17. The Abbys and Bailey, as soon as the f5 gets here. I decided to go with the F5 because if I ever decide to try other speakers, I won't have issues. I would be severely limited to what speakers I could try if I had gone for an F1 or F1J.
  18. Used First Watt F5 (not a clone, the real deal). It was either this or an F1J from Reno Hifi, but the F5 seems more versatile to me (and Reno's price just wasn't competitive vs the Audiogon's seller). Some of you recommended I buy the F3 listed in the FS Elsewhere thread, and I flatly said out "NO." Reason? Two days before I had already snatched the F5 as soon as it posted. It hasn't gotten here yet because I specifically asked the seller to ship this week because I was in the middle of moving. Well, I'm all set now. Oh happy days...
  19. Happy birthday!
  20. I don't listen to headphones, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends.
  21. Thanks. Indeed, someone had messed with the settings. I missed you all.. except that whore Brent.
