No dedicated server? How can they leave that out if that's been an option for the earlier COD games? As for no mod support, I personally wouldn't miss that.

I'm getting mine for the PC, I'm not a big fan of playing 1st person games using a gamepad. How did they fuck up the PC version?

I might need that option to leave the old structure so that I can get any saved files (saved games/profiles) if need be. I just don't want the new installation to use the same folders/structure as the old one but I don't mind the old files being there temporarily until I decide to delete them

Thanks Todd. I'd prefer to do clean installs but this means I'd have to reinstall all my programs and games. I might not mind doing this but does this mean I'll have to delete my old program files before doing the clean install on the same hard drive? I'd hate to mix/share the same folders for my old Vista install and the new Win 7 install. Am I trying to do this the wrong way?

Does anyone here know if a Windows 7 OEM disc can be used to upgrade a current Vista installation? I'd rather pick up the OEM than the upgrade for the following reasons: 1. OEM is cheaper 2. In case I want to do a clean install, I'm not sure if the upgrade disc would require me to do a Vista install FIRST and then a 7 upgrade SECOND. --> Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong with this assumption. This might convince me to just buy the upgrade then. Thanks!

Yeah, I was really surprised when I saw that this morning.. I'm not sure but I think I saw a tie last year. I guess that's much better than a loss!

It's gonna be tough for me to get a comeback win tonight. Ronnie Brown and Reggie Wayne gotta blow it up for me to win. Matt Forte has sucked for the past two weeks. The only reason I picked him is because everyone was blowing him since last season ended. Personally, I've never been impressed with him; I never got all the hype that surrounded him. I've always been a Chris Johnson fan but didn't take him that early as he shares time with Lendale White. Moral of the story: Take who you REALLY want to take even if it's a stretch at the spot where you're picking at.

Week 1 wasn't good for Johnsons. I had Chris Johnson and Andre Johnson in another league and they both sucked ass.

Does anyone here know if the ST will play FLAC files directly off a USB harddrive w/o a computer too? I know it works with a USB HD directly plugged into it but not sure if that only applies to mp3 files.

I saw that too. The upgrades are a lot of money, I wonder how the upgraded parts improve over the stock units. I've been waiting to hear how the WES compares to the BHSE. It would be hard to top the BHSE though.

Looks like that's the only way to do this....thank God Windows XP OEM discs are not as expensive as Vista.

thanks for the advice....unfortunately according to Acer, recovery media is not available anymore for this laptop. Perhaps because it is almost 3 years old and Microsoft has halted support for Windows XP.

So I'm trying to put in a clean copy of XP Media Center on my Mom's Acer laptop (her current installation is kinda jacked) and I can't figure out quite how to do it. I'm very familiar with putting together a PC and installing OS from scratch but my biggest challenge here is finding a XP Media Center disc without actually buying one. I still have the product key, it's on the sticker under the laptop. So the million dollar question is: how/where do I get/buy a Windows XP installation disc without the product key (which I already have)?
