Almost exact replica of my current dream bike (ok, one of them) with the same color, gruppo and wheels (which I already have courtesy of Mike) albeit mine should be much smaller:
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Even more thanks to Mike Sr. for picking me up, taking me to brunch and then a quick tour of downtown Chicago! You're are good man and a truly good friend!
I will miss hanging around here but I will try my best to log in whenever I can.
Off to board in a few minutes for my 16 hour flight from O'Hare to Hong Kong
On the way to the Philippines on 12/14 I will be in O'Hare from around 8am until my flight at 2pm. I don't plan on waiting the full 6 hours in the airport.....any suggestions on places I can go nearby to pass the time by? As long as it's within reasonable distance via public transportation or cab, I'm game for it. Thanks!
I always think of how much better on the bike I could be if I weighted around 130 lbs (meaning I'll have to lose around 27). I'll lose all access to good beer when I go home for vacation in the Philippines for 3 weeks on the 14th so that'll be a good start for me.
Unfortunately I agree with you Ken. If I stopped drinking beer I know that I too will drop weight without any increase in exercise frequency or the need to eat less. Of course that is easier said than done.
Everytime I log in, the mobile site is still forced on me regardless of whether I use Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer. When I logout, it goes to the normal site format. Any suggestions?
Having a little trouble with Chrome here....whenever I log in, the site forces the mobile version. When I click on "Full Version" nothing happens. I've cleared my cache and cookies with no luck
Got my Roubaix back today late afternoon so I just slapped in on the trainer and did some Sufferfest intervals. I thought I was gonna feel fresh after not riding for almost 2 weeks but that wasn't the case as I struggled mightily.
Need to log more miles before the Sebring weekend with Mike and JP next week.
