    Happy Birthday Buddy!
  7. Did the ride yesterday....it was chilly out at 730am but turned out to be a nice day as the sun came out. It was a lovely day to go out riding and this one of the biggest bike events I've been too - there were 1,500 riders. I wish I had my HC Bike Team (esp. the South FL crew) with me but it's still very early in the season, we'll have plenty of opportunities to ride. Thank you all VERY MUCH again for the generous support!
  8. Congrat Brent! I'm up bright and early for the Tour de Cure ride
  9. Happy Birthday Larry!
  10. Sweet build Jeff. A little too classic for my taste but really nice nevertheless. Needs a Romin though
  11. Nate, do you think this is someone Verizon can warranty for you? It's a possible hardware issue so it might be worth a shot.
  12. Sweet Jeff! Also love the CK45 Mango hubs on the DeSalvo. Did you build those wheels? What rims did you use?
  13. Ouch, feel better soon pigmode. Rode my usual 15 mile route 3 times last week with progressively better paces. Yesterday was tough with stiff winds all throughout but I still managed to match a PR. It's warm enough with light late enough for me to pile on more miles after work which makes me really happy.
  14. Happy Birthday Fitz!
  15. Happy Birthday Bonnie!
  16. Here's mine, I have a RoadID Slim which can use any "cause" bracelet just like them Livestrong ones.
  17. Happy Birthday Bonnie!
  18. Awesome Justin!
  19. I would assume moving the bar and changing hood angles may possible affect hand numbness as that can affect how much weight you put on your hands. Also, I'm not sure how true this is but I've read a fitter's blog somewhere that one of the main culprits of hand numbness may be because people are running bars that are a little bit too wide than they should be. I'm not saying it's the culprit here but something to consider.
  20. Agreed Chris. I've read multiple forum posts stating stems running either too long or too short. Of course they might be measuring it the wrong way too.....
  21. Thanks Chris. I've only measured it on the negative rise side so it may be shorter on the flip side. However, I read Deda stems are know to run a little long at times.
  22. Rode 15 miles on the trail today against 17-19 mph winds. It wasn't as bad as last week with straight headwinds/tailwinds and today was more side winds. I was getting pushed around quite a bit but it wasn't bad enough for me to want less deep wheels. I know it's too early to really rave about it but so far I'm very please with moving up to a 90mm stem (which actually measured closer to 95-100mm). I was a little afraid I was too stretched out when I first rode it on the trainer but it was perfect on the road. I no longer feel crunched up and I'm able to make a slight bend on my elbow more naturally. I'm really surprised how it made a big difference in fit and overall feel of my bike.
  23. Happy Birthday Nate!
  24. Yes, we should have done that last week. Everytime we head south fighting the winds on A1A has always been a nightmare especially for me. I remember that Ronald McDonald charity ride where we all got killed on the way back. I think I am officially allergic to winds.
  25. Thanks Mike, it's mainly because of the Enve's I bought from you. I really love the way these look, forget about if they really work or not
