  1. Happy Birthday Nate!!!
  2. Keep on keeping on, Vicki. You gotta start back somewhere I've been riding my trainer and using Trainer Road for the past 4 weeks. Trainers suck but it's been paying dividends - my endurance has really improved and I'm able to ride at a much lower heart rate than ever before. I did a 65 mile ride this Sunday and the last 10 was testosterone filled but I only averaged 137 HR
  3. Happy Birthday Naaman!!!
  4. RIP Dr. Spengler
  5. Happy Birthday Dan!

  10. Happy Birthday Colin!
  11. I'm lucky enough to have never had any numbness in my junk at any point but what I discovered is that saddles are very tilt-sensitive. If I get the tilt on my Arione perfect, it's great.....a few degrees off, it's a nut vise. I personally prefer level to slightly nose-down. Any sort of nose-up creates pressure on my nuts.
  12. Happy Birthday Steve!
  13. I've signed up again for this year's Tour de Cure on March 16. As you may already know, this is a cause that's near and dear to me as I have some friends and family who have diabetes. . That being said, I'd like to reach out to the gang once again for donations.....any amount, no matter how small is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all the support! I was initially aiming for the 70 mile ride but I feel like I have an outside chance of doing the century. I've been riding a lot indoors on my trainer for the past 3 weeks and I really feel like that is helping me out a lot as far as building endurance
  14. Happy Birthday!
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Just finished The Sufferfest ISLAGIATT. Since it was so long, I scaled it to 90% of my measty 170 FTP. It wasn't a hard as I thought it would be but that's probably from downscaling it. Make no mistake though, it still SUCKED. Need some beer and food now.
  17. Happy Birthday, Stephen!!!
  18. Got some new kicks today
  19. Thanks but too big, Gene. I need a 48 or 49 tops.
  20. Jeff sold the DeSalvo a month or 2 ago.
  21. Fin, it's not easy but not ball busting hard like Sufferfests. If you want something with no threshold work, try Pettit.
  22. 120+ FL miles. Riding the trainer is a motherfucker.
  23. I've rode 70 miles since Monday.................................on my trainer.
  24. Happy Birthday Jeff!
  25. Damn, the more I read about the Wahoo Kickr, the more I want one. At the same time, I can get a Stages Power meter for a few hundred less that I can actually use out on the road.......
