A user formerly known as kunalraiker was making useless posts; it would seem that now both the user and his posts no longer exist. Is that what happens when you get hit extra hard with the shovel?
  2. Jon Stewart Rally Attracts Estimated 215,000 - Political Hotsheet - CBS News That's a lot of people.
  3. That's right Al, I was at HeadFest 2007. Most of it was a blur though, I think I was still jetlagged at the time...
  4. I just checked my schedule today thinking I should see how it looks before going and I realized I have two large projects going on before and after that weekend.....but to hell with it. If I'm welcome I'll be there

So sterophile has a "Bookmark & Share" icon that pops up a list of social network icons if you hover over it. They smartly put it right above the "next post" link and the popup covers the next post link. Genius.
  6. Very good point and one that's worth repeating yet again
  7. It means you should replace the old caps with the same type and size. They're warning against audiophile "tweaking" of the components.
  8. The new transistor bias scheme, to be clear. Prior to that I've been running the WE connection with the higher CCS connection; I like this new scheme better on both my HD800 and LCD2, haven't given the HF2 a try yet.
  9. Depending on the final date, I should be able to make it. I'd like to attend
  10. I really like the new bias method.
  11. Way to contribute to the thread/forum! I know it's already been said, but for your sake I think you may want to re-read your welcome PM.
  12. If you have an additional usb port to spare, you can try using a two pronged usb cable to supply additional power. Something like this: Amazon.com: Cables to Go 28108 USB 2.0 B Male to 2 USB A Male Y-Cable (Black): Electronics edit: Oops, just realized you already bought a usb hub to solve the problem. Guess it's good to keep the Y cable in mind in case you ever need it
  13. At least the first one is in focus; can't say that about the second video.
  14. If a headphone case is giving you such difficulty, I think you should type less and go work out more
  15. "No Light District" P-P amplifier - diyAudio ?
  16. Thanks for the info TomB! For what it's worth, the single channel that's working sounds good with the two red led's in series
  17. I completely agree with this statement.
