Thanks for letting me borrow it Chris, it was a piece of cake to pack and unpack the bike!

What a fantastic first post. -
What's particularly baffling is they used the same "You must be a geek force member" statement in multiple posts, without a single instance where they mentioned that you must already be a backer. I thought that would be something they should've made clear at least in one of those statements.

So...the chair got lung cancer? Should've seen it coming, since the guy is a realityTV producer. Yup, it was all a hoax. -
I also went for the M500, but mainly for the MLC vs TLC difference on general principles. Techreport's ssd endurance test showed that after 100tb written the 840 non-pro started showing increasing reallocated sectors. While 100tb is a lot (I'm showing 7tb written on my M4) I'm still willing to go for a slower drive that has longer durability over the faster drive with shorter durability. IMHO, of course

That looks kinda how my mini-itx build turned out. Didn't even need a fan for the sandy bridge cpu either, all passively cooled by the case fans. -
Haven't you heard? An audiophile-quality USB cable will fix that

Looking at the forum it looks like they meant the black friday promo to only be for original pulse backers and not just anyone that is a "geek force member". Some folks thought they could order one of the black friday units in the place of their original backed item and others somehow contributed the default $6/$7/$8 contribution. Overall it's quite a snafu.

Pacific Rim Blu-ray+DVD combo for $7.99 at Amazon

Amazon.com lists it as an import and not a true US release, so that's probably why it's so much. Wonder if there's supposed to be a US release? edit: doh, just read the rest of your post

It's near Frederick, MD and the leaves weren't too bad on the yellow trail that I took. The black trail which I hiked today was much worse and made it quite tricky to navigate.

Might not be a full 2hours then? doh

I've been mountain biking a lot, but not much road biking. Hopefully I'm in okay-ish shape for Sebring

Went for a ride yesterday in Gambrill State Park. It was a bit rocky in some parts: but overall quite a fun ride. Will have to go back!

I do believe I see what you did there. Bravo

Yup, but IIRC they don't have full access to the play store (not that it'd be an issue in this case)

I upgraded to the 2013 Nexus 7 so I now have a spare 2012 Nexus 7 (16GB). If you don't mind an older generation tablet I'm sure we can work something out (and I could flash KitKat on it if you want) I haven't experienced the touchscreen issue, but some folks have:

It was a group ride and everyone had lights. It's much better when you have lights

Tossed the bike on the saris rack instead and went for a night MTB ride. Very interesting comparing the same trail night vs day.

Someone managed to clip my hitch mount bike rack while backing out of their parking space adjacent to mine. Didn't even leave a note or anything either . Just came back to my car to see that the trays were rotated in the completely wrong direction, which sheared off the metal bit that held the tray in place. I gotta say though, that I'm impressed with the 1up rack. The only damage seems to be the underlying tray that holds the rails, which seems to be bolted on, if I can get a replacement from 1up it should be an easy fix since everything is bolted together.

Glad to hear you've got some progress Grahame! Hope you get better soon.

It's falling apart again already? Wow.

W2799 and W2893 seem almost identical but the W2893 appears to have a slightly thicker jacket (by 1.6mm/0.063") and a bit more shielding, so it looks like it'll be a touch thicker and heavier (relatively). I haven't tried the W2799 but I have used the W2893 and it's definitely more flexible than the Canare that I used. Both are a bit of overkill for a KSC75, you could just look at one of the simple two conductor mogami cables for even more weight savings

Does this conspiracy involve a long winded all caps post?
