That's actually a very safe thing to do btw. If the density of nails is high, any person could do it. You just need some tips and a tiny bit of practice. -

Just awesome man. Especially that first one. What were the exposure conditions? It seems extremely low light. -

Except they price it like an xxD. This thing won't sell. When it does sell, it will be to people who were going to buy the T2i anyway. Way to screw up your product line, Canon. -

Well, you have another choice now, as the 60D specs are official. 18 MP APS-C CMOS sensor Advanced creative features with Basic + Vari-angle 7.7cm (3.0”) 3:2 ratio LCD Full HD movies with manual control DIGIC 4 ISO 100-6400, H:12800 5.3fps shooting for up to 58 JPEGs 9-point cross type AF System iFCL metering with 63-zone Dual-layer Sensor Integrated Speedlite transmitter In-camera RAW processing It probably has faster and smarter AF than the T2i but only a marginal upgrade, all in all. It should also be able to do usable 3200 ISO easily and maybe even 6400. I'd rather have a 3.5" screen than a swivel. It's also all plastic. TBH, it's a little disappointing. It would be worth the upgrade if it was the same price or $100 more than the T2i but it'll probably be $1100, I'm guessing. -

If you're considering the T2i, seriously look at the D3100. The new high ISO shots look great. So does the 55-300mm DX lens. It seems that the D3100 will do ISO 3200 with ease. -

Anyone else pissed that they got rid of phantom tabs in this dev update? Phantom tabs are those greyed out tabs that would happen when you closed a pinned tab. Now, it just disappears. -

I like that. It just needs to be cropped and de-noised. It's pretty nice what phones can do these days. Who needs a P&S anymore? -

It was at 55mm f/14 so I'm guessing that 24-70mm again. -
The maximum? If it was cheap and feasible I wouldn't mind if the whole front panel was a screen.

I think it will be around the same cost and much better since the 35mm f/2 is so old. I doubt it'll be in the same range as the the Nikon, though. Unless, like the Nikon, it's APS-C only (EF-S). -
The remote should be an IR laser gun. Instead of a button, have an IR receiver on the front panel for each function. You have to hit the target in order to activate each function.

Canon XTi 50mm f/1.8 I with Picasa's resizing didn't suck. -

So there's a lot of rumors running around about an update to one of the inexpensive primes (either 35mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.4) in September/October. I'd wait for that if you're using a Canon body. Also Viveza 2 came out recently and I gave it a try. It's very handy and quick to add dynamic contrast/color saturation. -

I'm left eye dominant. I also can't wink with my left eye so it limits my options with a camera. I shoot (guns) with my right eye but I have to color in my shooting goggles. -

They haven't confirmed it but there was a leak of a product sheet from some retailer so who knows. They said they'd release at least one body and I think people are convinced that it's either the 60D or 1Ds MkIV. The T2i not having a second wheel is a big issue. So's the build quality. But, I'd get a battery grip with any DSLR anyway so I'm not concerned about the size. VPI, the saturation on the yellow and pink flowers is just incredible. This is another reason I really need to replace the XTi. -

Will anyone be partaking in the 60D-fest? I'm debating between the 50D, 60D, or T2i. I need to replace my aging XTi body because it's near unusable above 400 iso. The xxD series is great for the build quality and wheel but I fell in love with that T2i screen. Does the 50D have the same screen as the T2i? In addition, there's rumors flying around that the 50mm 1.4 will be updated or a new 35mm 1.8 will be released at photokina. If this proves to be true, I'll probably pick that up as well to replace my current 50mm 1.8 and 35mm 2.0. In addition, I really need a decent walkaround zoom instead of kit lens. I'm thinking Tamron or Sigma. I mostly take landscapes shots and wide angle stuff so I definitely don't even need up to 150mm. I'll be happy to take any suggestions or comments. -
I just had my first In n Out Monday when I was in SF. Double double and fries animal style. The burger was delicious but I feel like the fries would be better plain or just with the thousand island-ish sauce because it's too soggy otherwise.

You can also try Cabasse. I've never tried them myself. They seem gimmicky but about the same size as Gallo stuff.
