You still might want to consider... Better to do it now than get burned later...
-
If you ever have to move more than 2 or 4 gigs of info I would reformat. I primarily deal on the edit side of Mac. We've had people bring in their FCP projects and have us lay it out to tape. Anytime I tried to export back to their drive it would always tank. I finally ended up copying their entire contents to our raid, reformat their drive, and copy it right back. Always let them know what I was doing. Most have no idea. They're already on a Mac anyway and aren't hooking the same drive up to a windows machine.

I used the AudioValve RKV to run mine...

well these posts at least give me an idea. Now I have to figure out what to do...

I've got a pair. Can't wear them 'cause I got a fat head. Hurts too much to wear them and don't want to stretch them out. I've been thinking about selling them so at least someone could get some enjoyment out of them. They're in great shape a well as the wooden box. Think I have the original AKG box and manual... but would have to look. Just thinking about it... not in any rush.

Was curious what these are going for these days. Seen a few WTB threads over at HF...

The funny thing is my Dad is the only one that this happens to. Weird. Sent him one tonight and he got it. Go figure... -
I'm constantly having problems emailing back my Dad. I'm the only one in our family that seems to have this problem. Here's an example... Reporting-MTA: dns; comcast.net Arrival-Date: 25 Aug 2007 3:00:41 +0000 Final-Recipient: rfc822; (dad's address) Action: failed Status: 4.4.7 Unable to contact host for 2 days, Diagnostic-Code: smtp; Persistent Transient Failure: Delivery time expired Last-Attempt-Date: 25 Aug 2007 3:00:41 +0000 He can email me fine, but it's like 70% chance my response won't make it. I've tried sending a new message as well as responding to his email. He's on DSL... not sure what company. I'm on Comcast using Thunderbird.

I'm diggin' on the Camino...

I think I'm going to try the Camino. I downloaded Opera... was satisfied with it's performance until I went to eBay. I entered in nevada test site. There was a photo of the Able 2 detonation for sale I click on it and get this... Dear User: Unfortunately, access to this particular category or item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in your home country. Based on our discussions with concerned government agencies and eBay community members, we have taken these steps to reduce the chance of inappropriate items being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases this policy may prevent users from accessing items that do not violate the law. At this time, we are working on less restrictive alternatives. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay. Thank You. What gives with that? I"m in the US. Opera written by commies or something?

For some reason my Firefox browser is running like crap as of late. I'm on a 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4, got 2 gigs of ram, I've defragged-run Tech Tool Pro and it still has been loading like molasses. I've ended up going back to Safari at the moment. I don't really have that many extras on mine, I've downloaded the latest and copied it over the old one... and no luck. I'm at the end of my rope. Any suggestions?

Na... he never listens to me anyway

Fortunately all of my firearms were still there. That's what I would be most worried about. They're locked up... but then again someone could have taken their sweet time with my front door unlocked... thank you very much. Still going to keep the keys and glad it turned out ok. Oh yeah... could have lost my Woo3, Audiovalve RKV, Senn 600s, RS1s, and AKG K-1000.

So last Friday I get a notice at my apartment that says they're checking everyone's fire extinguisher to make sure they're all up to spec. No biggie. Cleaned up everything, left the extinguisher on the counter just like they asked... no problem. I get home about 6:45pm tonight. Never guess what I find in my lock? Their copy of my key... on their keyring... in the lock... my door unlocked as well. Guess I should consider myself fortunate that no one grabbed any of my stuff. Unbelievable. I'm gonna play stupid and let them think they lost it.
