  1. you cant see here, but they have 6mm shaft hole, plus a threaded M4 hole with hex nut to affix it
  2. doh, I had been linked to that GB thread and knew about the content before (but not who the OP was), and the page I was linked to had a post from Kevin saying he was getting a truckload of them, so i had assumed it was through you mate, sorry for the confusion. OK well doesnt matter so much, it would have only saved shipping money on the feet anyway, which is unlikely to even be in the same ballpark as shipping for the case to OZ. I guess will just see how things pan out, it would still save some dollars for sure, but i'm scared of the shipping bill. The sinks are large for sure and heavy, but nowhere near as large as the package has to be for the whole case. whats the total size and weight of the package so I can work out if this is even viable? silver or black? would prefer silver. also, might be able to put you in contact with someone to get a good price on the Ti knobs I bought these, custom made from my CAD file. I believe this is the knob jockey from HF that was mentioned earlier in the thread. I have a private email for him if you are having trouble contacting him. I think I paid like 200EU for the lot, 35EU for the large ones (once shipping was taken into account, which are pretty large at 50mm diameter and 40mm deep. I think he did an excellent job
  3. ahh IC, well definitely keep me in the loop with that. i'll check the thread every couple of days. i'm getting some of the feet in the GB, so maybe can throw all mine and natonrice's feet in the box and ship it together. anyway i'll shoot you a PM with my contact details, you can let me know what the damage and availability is that way.
  4. any spare heatsinks?? solo I dont need the T2 parts, but those sinks are sexy!!
  5. yes indeed I would be!!. I have been watching the T2 project from the sidelines as a very interested bystander, living vicariously through Natonrice. It is excellent project BTW and the case is a work of art (love that stuff, CNC Al gives me wood) but I dont have quite enough desire to buy a set of O2's or other Stax to use with it; and I cant run my JH13 with it hehe; so a dynamic equivalent would be excellent!! pity you wouldnt be doing the casing though. maybe if we badger you enough?? haha 'last nutty idea for the year'.... as if
  6. put me down for 16 please, can always use more cones:D
  7. friendly little forum you guys have got here. i've cruised maybe 4 threads on here in the last 2 days and every single one has someone being targeted for something. enjoy....
  8. indeed reading reviews on JH13/16 can only serve to help a person choose between the 2 (even then not much really), sure doesnt help anyone if you cant actually afford them. I dont understand people that wantonly subject them-self to the torture of reading impressions of what is probably the best headphone (in many aspects) that I have ever heard, if you cant within the realms of possibility acquire them for yourself. even worse listen to the demo when all you can actually afford is a set of W1 or something. but then I suppose sports car magazines would = fail if everyone took that attitude and 'top gear' would be scraping the bottom of the ratings barrel. glad i've got mine and even though I thought I would, I dont seem to be finding myself lusting after the 16's, finally at least for portable use my wants have been stopped in their tracks. other areas of my portable rig are still evolving, but until these dont fit me anymore or they come up with a safe technology for actually directly transmitting audio to my brain stem i'm pretty sorted. for that aspect alone I feel they are worth the money..for me

    Apogee ONE

no problem hehe (assuming sarcasm), hey its all conjecture at the moment, I would think my statement is at least as valid as 'do want' i'm still keen to hear any real impressions when someone gets one, always good to know whats going on in this price bracket for recommendations even if I dont need one myself and if its even half as good as any of the apogee pro convertors i've heard, i'd have no problem recommending it to someone. the mic truly does make it interesting for students and the driver support for apogee on macs is unsurpassed; especially for anyone using logic studio/express

    Apogee ONE

yeah no netbook rigs till mac brings one for those thinking that. looks sweet and i'm yet to hear anything from apogee I didnt like. i'm sure it'll have a few people droling already, but yeah mac only will limit the market somewhat, not me but i'm all sorted for portable dacs
  11. wow, I have a weakness for machined teflon and connectors, pity for no stax, those are superb mate, really and truly
