  8. MOAR orgasmic......comfort wise that is.
  9. Thats what I thought, unless you consider under the plastic ring another flap...but that just didn't make any sense. Anyways, the MK2 pads are pretty darn sweet. It seems to change the sound just a bit although it could just be my mind playing tricks. The bass seems a bit more present and the overall sound just very slightly darker. I quite like it, especially not having sweaty ears anymore!
  10. I received a pair of MK2 pads finally. I was looking at the instructions for replacing the ear pads but i'm not sure about something. It seems that there is a third flap in the MK2 pad instructions in which the spring goes under, while the MK1 shows the spring going under the second flap. Is it correct for the spring to go under the hard plastic ring directly onto the mesh? Or does the spring go under the cloth flap on top of the hard plastic ring? I did the former when installing my pads, and i'm hoping that I don't need to rip this apart again...
  11. If you're in the X6 1055t range with AMD, I would definitely consider the core i5-760. In benchmarks for gaming, it simply outperforms the X6. Also, the recently released GTX 460 graphics card from Nvidia performs excellently, outdoing even the GTX 465 and Radeon 5830. Once again for the price range you're looking at, it would be hard to beat. If you don't like to overclock yourself, you could just pick up the EVGA factory overclocked GTX460 for only 10 dollars more.
  12. Happy Birthday Tyll!!!
  13. Happy Birthday!
  14. I would definitely consider purchasing from Dell outlet for cheaper. They come with the same warranty and support as their new machines, but you get more for your money. It seems they actually have some XPS 8100 computers in stock right now which is rare: Dell Factory Outlet Instead of that Gateway w/i5, you could get that Dell XPS 8100 thats $749.00 on the link I gave you and it comes with the better i5-750 processor and a blu-ray drive. And it still has 6GB of DDR3 like the Gateway. I'd definitely take that Dell XPS 8100 over the Gateway you listed. The Intel core i5-750 is a nice processor and performs better than the core i7-920 in some benchmarks. If you can find the newer i5-760 then that would probably be even better, as it has excellent price to performance ratio, beating out the AMD X6-1055T(hexcore processor) and besting some of the core I7 line. Although pretty much all those computers leave some to be desired in the graphics department...
  15. 2 2GB chips in dual channel...and yes its time to get losing to koreans.
  16. Woot...new computer finally. Now I can run those games on ultra settings. -Intel Core i5-760 -EVGA GTX 460 1GB superclocked -4gb DDR3 @1333MHz (nothing special) I opted for an H55 chipset motherboard since it was cheaper than a P55 chipset and I wasn't planning on running SLI anyways. It suits the needs fine since the single PCIe 2.0 slot runs at 16x bandwidth and i'm only going to use one discrete GPU. This is gunna kick ass, that new Nvidia GTX 460 is really a steal at its price bracket.
  17. Unless your name is tyrion, good luck....i'm just sayin.....
  18. Happy Birthday!
  19. Happy Birthday good sir!
  20. Thanks for the link. It would suck so bad if your new GPU(s) got fried because of that issue.
  21. AMD X2 2.0GHz, 3GB RAM, GeForce 7300LE:palm: Running at the lowest settings still lags, and even if the FPS were up to par i'd still want to upgrade, as the graphics look like a child's coloring book. I can definitely avoid all of those consequences you speak of except the 11 year old Koreans. There's a reason why they didn't release a physical copy of SC2 in South Korea...
  22. Picked up a copy of SC2, but my damn computer is too outdated to run it smoothly even on the lowest settings. Got the SRM-T1W from Todd. Its not a good amp for the O2, but i'm still enjoying it while I wait for my BH.
  23. Spritzer, have you or anyone else confirmed that the recent production SR-007A model has been "fixed" as well? IIRC, it was the SR-007A model which you had in possession at the time that exhibited the flaws in the bass and midrange, correct? If not then perhaps there is a difference between the SR-007A model and the SR-007MK2 model. Just a thought.
  24. The video of that kid is retarded as well. Take the headphones away and he looks like a Taliban hostage about to get beheaded. That certainly isn't how i'd want to be feeling while "i-Dosing"
