  1. Ryan, you may be right. But I also saw some GREAT defense. If they keep up that effort, especially with their interior defense, and with Miami's lack of a bench, and lack of interior offense, they could really force Miami to play from the outside. Then Miami only wins if they get hot from the outside. Miami will win some games, but I'd have to think the team that owns the paint wins the series, and hopefully that is Chicago. Being a Cavs fan, I've seen Lebron just dial it up and own everyone on the court. But I've also seen him unable to adjust to a good defense and resort to pounding the ball on the perimeter, then take bad, forced shots, and wilt under the pressure. It'll be interesting to see which way he goes, now that he has 'good' teammates picked personally by him. Salty, nice to have fans from everywhere. I have to say, the Bulls have the kind of team that's easy to like. All good guys (maybe not Boozer) who give effort.
  2. Jim, somehow missed your post in the last page. Good luck with that application - hope it works out, if it turns out that you want to make a move! Dan, you're a better man than I! Diapers were really tough for me, and was very glad when we got past that stage with our kids. Although my wife didn't help by insisting on using cloth diapers. I tried for a while, gave up and said she can do cloth if she wants, but not me; I'm killing the environment, but keeping my sanity!
  3. Aaah. Makes sense. Hope you weren't forced to babysit and change diapers. That woulda been rough. My wife is 10 years older than her youngest sister, and was left in charge an awful lot when they were kids.
  4. Ooh! Surround sound A2's! How 'bout it, Marc? I can package them nicely with a bottle of booze! I actually don't hate them, the imaging is quite nice. Yeah, the tone is quite thin/tinny, but I didn't expect much for tiny speakers on my desktop. Maybe my standards for such things are too low. I'll admit I don't have a great urge to turn them on all the time. We'll find out when I get the 9L's ...
  5. Wow! Ok, who is the oops/outlier here ...
  6. Add me to the list, I'd like to go if I can work it out!
  7. I'll probably be selling my pair of A2's, if anyone would like the opportunity to check the veracity of these statements!
  8. I used to wear contacts. It was REALLY hard to get the darn things in and out at first. It was so bad, that the optician who was supposed to be helping me gave up and just said to go practice at home. After a few days at home, it got really easy. And I have really small eyes. So I'm sure you'll get the hang of it!
  9. http://www.widgetslab.com/2010/07/24/xmarks-app-for-iphone/ Xmarks for iphone app? I use xmarks for my computers, but don't have an iphone to try that app. Might work for you. Edit: Their website is http://www.xmarks.com/ and looks like iPhone access is listed as a paid premium feature. http://buy.xmarks.com/premium.php
  10. Happy Bday, Chris!
  11. FTFY Ah, finally! But why should it take so loooong? And after several posts literally spelling that out for you. Read the Welcome Message again. Take it to heart. Pretend you're at the pub with a new group of folks you don't know. You buy a few rounds, be self deprecating, take some ribbing without being defensive, every now and then flash a little bit of knowledge. but do it with humility. Engineers go to pubs. Act like the one who knows social etiquette, not like the pesky sophomore who barges into a group of senior Tau Beta Pi's enjoying their night out, and tells them all how to conduct their business.
  12. Bulls defense and strength in the paint just great tonight. Hope that continues throughout the series!
  13. He doesn't know what that word means. He's an engineer.
  14. Correct. Did you read the part about being right ... that this is more like a closed social club? We know and love Tyll ... He's a long standing friend. You're just some guy. Maybe that'll change in the future. Doesn't seem to be going that way, though, does it?
  15. I loved that album.
  16. Tyll is perfect for YOUR needs. You get exposure in a national publication with a great reputation, which took decades to develop. He gets ... Um, well, he gets to be on your unknown blog, comparing an inexpensive amp to an expensive amp. Even if he can tell them apart, you get a national stage to say your bit. And he gets to prove he can tell a cheap amp from an expensive amp. To an audience that already knows he can do this. Maybe he has better things to do with his time. Seems pretty one sided to me. You're the Mobius Strip of headphone testing challenges.
  17. Quoting Lebron James: “it's kind of funny. It's almost like Jay-Z [responding to a negative comment] made by Soulja Boy. It doesn't make sense to respond."
  18. It's a fabulous looking 'za. I'm with your wife, though, on the anchovies. Although I used to not like gin until I had good gin. Maybe I need to get some high end anchovies? And I do the same ... I go for sushi when I'm alone, since no one else in the family likes it.
  19. Ew. Anchovies.
  20. But you like Tchaik? I admit I had to look up the word, but I think I like mawkish.
  21. Are you having irregular periods lately?
  22. No pads here, either. No problem that I've seen.
  23. Woohoo! Congrats, Bryan! Don't pass out!
  24. I agree it's easy to set up. But also agree that I find myself having to come back multiple times to get it exactly right. And I'm not aware of anything easier. Nice rack! We've had one for years and still like ours.
  25. Yup, clear as mud, just as I expected. Like wmcmanus said, seems (un)- solvable to me! But fun for me to read! Thanks!
