  1. Ugh. Just horrible . Poor kids ... How old are they?
  2. Ice cream? Your speakers sound hard to drive. My old Apogees used to be that way, but my current Meadowlarks are much easier. A smooth and easy ride anywhere just for fun, no demands for ice cream!
  3. The M3 is my dream car. I'd LOVE to drive my speakers with an M3!
  4. Happy Father's Day! I had a nice day with the family. I picked a Memphis style BBQ place and had a nice pulled pork sammich. They also had 'Bacon candy'. Not sure what they did to that bacon, but it tasted great. Anne got me a National Geographic book called 'Food Journeys of a Lifetime'. Spent the evening listening to music and playing video games with my son.
  5. Will miss you,Big Man! RIP!
  6. Happy Birthday!
  7. Are you still Fitz?
  8. Fitz's ghost!
  9. Holy shit, Fitz! Keep us up to date. You're safe I hope?
  10. Dusty, you would be drooling a lot more if you'd seen this waitress! Yikes! Jacob, you might be wrong about sushi chefs all liking tentacle rape young girl pron. When I tried to engage him in said topic, he didn't seem amused at all. I told him all sushi chefs love that stuff, and he just kept sharpening his knife and glaring at me. Not sure what to make of It.
  11. Demon roll (unagi, avocado, topped with hamachi, spicy mayo, black tobiko), salmon tataki (seared salmon, citrus soy, ginger, green onion), seaweed salad, mango infused iced tea.
  12. Heh. Camel Toads. Wow, Al! Exiting stuff in yer 'hood! These are the guys that I'd get awakened by page to see at 3am on call as a resident. We just loved that. Usually they were psychotic from being manic (spring time sometimes brings it out), and/or test positive for cocaine and/or occasionally PCP. I used to think this kind of thing didn't happen near where I lived, but now that I work 5 minutes from where I live, I know that it's not THAT uncommon ...
  13. Rachmaninov. Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, then the Rach 3. Ashkenazy.
  14. Nice, Brent! This makes me happy!
  15. Maybe blutarski was recreating the smashing a beer can on his head scene using HPA's iPad2?
  16. Oooh, nice, Al!
  17. to Chris is fine ... Chris, just treat her like the lady that she is ...
  18. Wow, really great review, Ryan! I missed my chance to hear it at two separate meets; your review really gives me a sense of how great it sounds. So, can I have my whore back now? (Or pass it on to Chris or back to Jim)
  19. Wow, sorry to hear about your Dad, Chris! Those broken hips are really awful; just really debilitating. I used to do consults for dementia units at nursing homes. It's their recent memory that goes first, so oddly, they can often recall memories from long ago with precise detail and not recall what they had for lunch yesterday. I really enjoyed hearing their stories from long ago, and they seemed to really enjoy telling them. Once, I saw an old audio hobbyist, and he'd tell me about the old wind up Victrola, the tube equipment (he had no particular love for them, it was just what they had), and 'the old wireless' which was a radio that would require him to move a wire along a quartz crystal to change the frequency. (At least I think I remember that ... maybe someone here can correct me.)
  20. Heh. Yes, thanks. Too used to writing 'tic' at work ... that would be bad if the kids had tics!
  21. Final tic count: 0 for me 0 for Anne 0 for Ginger the girl pug 0 for Ollie the glass jawed boy pug 1 for Maya and ... 3 for Daniel FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Glad to hear it, Al!
  23. Yay! Momentous occasion! Congrats to all of you!
