So for kicks, I substituted that Mezcal in place of tequila in a margarita, and damn, it's pretty tasty! Adds lots of complexity and a smokey aftertaste. I like it!

Between L5 and S1, the space between the last vertebra of the lumbar region, and the first of the sacral region. You have what's commonly called a slipped disc or herniated disk. Sorry to hear that, those really hurt. I've got one myself, same space, too. Good news is most of the time, it gets better without surgery, given time, rehab, and antiinflammatories. Hope that's the case for you!

That's one bad thing about this area ... other than some nice older neighborhoods, there aren't too many really nice places to run or bike. You pretty need to drive to get to a good biking place.

Man, I wish. I'm still catching up from that great vacation, now called that damn vacation. First few days back just suck! Leftovers? You better keep eating, then! You need to gain back all that weight you've lost!

Ha! Funny. That's what they told me about those notes from a year ago when the same thing happened. Data center must be plugged into the special orange plugs.

Hey, that's a good lookin' 'za! I'll be right over!

That happened to our hospital a month ago. It's funny, there are special orange outlets that are supposed to be backups for 'mission critical' use, in case of outages. So I moved all my equipment to those outlets so that I could continue patient care (computers, televideo unit). Turns out the special orange outlets were no different than any other outlet. I sure hope the cardiac monitors and oxygen pumps are plugged into something other than orange! After the event, a mass email went around asking people to identify which orange outlets didn't do anything during the outage. I'm quite CERTAIN that problem has been addressed by now ... yeah, right! The contigency plan with the electronic health records was to write your notes on paper and turn it into medical records, who would then scan your note into the computer system when was restored. I haven't seen my written notes since ...

Al's hilarious. He makes flaming an art form. -
I guess we should only take Amtrak when it isn't time critical, like when on a leisurely vacation! Regarding a suicidal truck-train crash, how awful ... I have to admit that here and there while on the train for > 25 hours, that train crash scene from 'Super 8' forced its way into my head. Luckily, no such event for us!

Just catching up here... best wishes for sick and improving HC parents, road trips gone bad. We returned last night from our nice, long, family trip out west. Shelly was right, Amtrack ran 2-3 hours late. Still like the train ride, though, it was kind of cool!

I don't need too much fancy stuff other than great sound. I hope for a good interface via iPad, though. Thanks! You don't want the bridge, or did you want the bridge, but the one you're eyeing doesn't have it? I saw that one that was a recent return/upgrade 10/10 'mint' from Audio Video Logic without the bridge. I saw a recent return/used bridge from a different seller, and told AV Logic I was interested, but preferred to deal with one company and make one transaction, and asked if they could match the price on that used bridge if I bought the PWD from them. They immediately said yes, they'd just install it for me prior to shipping it, for the same used price. Haven't gotten it yet, so we'll see ... I'm not expecting any problems, though.

PWD w/ bridge from the 'gon. Finally. Been wanting this for a while now. Guess I needed a few hikes in the mountains to clear my head! Or is it the thin air that's got me lightheaded?

Nice review, thanks, Bryan! Sounds like a great time! Been wanting to explore more Grace Potter. Also, I like Coldplay. Just not crazy for them, and don't know why they have the cult like following that they do. Mike sorry about the migraine, hope you feel better! Parenthood sounds like being a chaffeur when the kids are that age! I'll have to prepare for that!

That boutique chocolatier is based in Chicago. I've had that particular flavor many times, and love it! I didn't even have to enlarge the thumbnail to recognize it.

Abbey Monk's Ale. The Monastery of Christ in the Desert in Abiquiu, New Mexico claims to be the only American monastery brewing and selling beer- in the tradition of the Belgian monks. Pretty darn good, too! http://christdesert.org/Abbey_Beverage_Company/index.html

Thanks, Al! That sizzling bacon is making we want a midnight snack! Lunch this afternoon. It doesn't look that attractive, but the green chile that they smother atop everything in New Mexico is so good! Here is a tamale and chile relleno smothered with green chile.

Thanks, I'll look into this. We might be ok, though ... we're travelling with a family of Mac-Heads (is that the right term?). They are traveling with an old MBP and a new MBP. I'm hoping the new MBP uses the same charger (or at least the same prongs) as the new MBA. Plus the woman in that family forgot to pack a pair of hiking socks, so we offered a pair of hiking socks in exchange for use of their AC adapter. We're actually staying in the same hotel for one night on the way back, so I called and asked them to be on the lookout for a set of prongs stuck in an outlet of room 907!

jp, could it be this? http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1181523 Google 'memory leak' and 'Lion', and all sorts of stuff comes up. Most reference Safari as the cause, and many resolved it by using Firefox.

So Anne must have accidentally pulled the prongs off the AC adapter of her new MBA while unplugging it from the wall of the hotel room a few days ago. So now she can't charge the thing, and there's prolly a pair of prongs in the wall of the Hyatt in Santa Fe.

Flows just great! Boy, does it flow! Flows like a good champagne!

Hmmm. Doesn't exactly flow. Will have to think about that ...
