Dude, that totally sucks, but I'm really glad it wasn't a stroke. To my knowledge, Bell's Palsy is a random bad luck infection, usually viral, and it usually goes away in a few weeks as the nerve recovers. It usually doesn't recur, unless you just happen to get it again by really bad luck. If you have really, really bad luck, sometimes the nerve can be left with a residual weakness, but that's pretty unusual. Typically, you'll be a pirate for a few weeks, we can all tease you for a bit, then it should just go away. Drink what you want through straw, I say, you can't stop living life! Maybe get a pretty, decorative straw, and maybe an umbrella! Edit: Anne likes to meet up with her friends at this Tiki bar sometimes for silliness and fun. HPA, in this case, dsavitsk was trying to point out technical reasons that your post doesn't make sense. There are plenty of other times you are picked on here, but I don't think that's the case in this post. I think the fact that you feel picked on and get defensive so quickly is a big reason people pick on you, by the way. Just say you heard a difference, others have, too, but you don't know why that should be. There's so many knowledgable people here, someone will either back you or not, but with good reasons. No need to take things personally and invite more teasing.

Well, either way, there should be an adequate supply of human heads in Jacob's basement. I only hope they're not completely disfigured with shovel indentations. :shovel:

I dunno. You guys get all the glory (and it's well deserved, by the way). Besides, I never get paid when I charge people for stuff like that. The HMO insurance requires a prior authorization, and it never gets approved.

In my world, we'd say you have an over-active superego. Just be sure to pack it well. Or buy two bottles ... you can drink one, you'll be able to relax a little bit, thus allowing you to ship the other. If you want to practice (systematic desensitization), you can ship one to me. Be careful, dsavitsk almost crashed my computer by listening to Abba on my system last weekend! We think the computer was shocked and overwhelmed, freezing for a few minutes, but it eventually recovered. I'd still be careful, though!
