  1. I have a pair I won't need until July, if you need to borrow them.
  2. Happy Belated Birthday!
  3. Missed a lot while I was out of town! Happy Belated!
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. Good for both of you! I have to say, that I don't see civility often enough when people break up. It's nice to see it once in a while, and it really speaks volumes for you as a person!
  6. Last night drank cheap scotch and Sprite with a group of 75 year old nuns, now playing Plants vs. Zombies with them along with my son. Also went to church with them in a mostly African American church and heard some great gospel music at the service. Later, will visit and have dinner with a 75 year old lesbian couple. All are friends of my wife in Atlanta, and are just great people. Then tomorrow will drive to the coast of Georgia/Florida to spend the week in Amelia Island away from everyone and everything except for my family.
  7. Watching my son teach a group of 75 year old nuns how to play Plants vs. Zombies.
  8. Yup, had a couple of these today. Agree it's nirvana. Nice thread! Made me smile!
  9. Wow, that sucks ...
  10. It's like when I got an HDTV. But for me, the speed improvement of more RAM and a faster processor (from the 1) has had a more dramatic effect.
  11. So ... where's the spreadsheet?
  12. Are there many?
  13. I've had that! Good stuff! Made by a local Chicago chocolatier. Nice to see she's getting some national growth!
  14. Yeah, exactly. "I've always had great respect for what Mr. Elway accomplished for the Denver Broncos organization as a quarterback and for what he is doing for them as GM. His achievements are beyond reproach. I look forward to building on what he has done here and look forward to great success on what is already an excellent team." 'Oh yeah, and you can say goodbye to that other quarterback.'
  15. Weird, 'Peking Dumpling' was my nickname in HS! Jk, pretty funny, though. We have to do this training annually, and I agree, the films are pretty bad w/ horrible acting. I try to stay amused, otherwise, I'd get really irritated and bored.
  16. Wow. Have to admit, I didn't see this coming when this all started. But it really makes a lot of sense. Nice move for them, assuming his neck is ok.
  17. Happy Bday!
  18. Happy Birthday, Al! I will toast you later tonight!
  19. Had a chance to read it, and my god, Nate, you are a fantastic writer (excluding name typos, of course )! Congrats on a really great piece! And congrats to Doug - but then I was already a fan!
  20. In midst of reading this review, but I think Doug's last name is mispelled, it should be 'Savitsky.'
  21. Thanks, Jacob! Been using it all day mostly for calendar functions, and I notice the touch sensitivity is much more discrete. I can control what time I'm point at to a much finer degree. I wasn't expecting that. I wonder if this affects game play, as well?!
  22. x2 Got mine today, just backed up the old iPad1, and transferred to new. Really, really much, much faster than iPad 1. So glad I got this. Screen is really nice. I doubt I'd have switched from iPad2, though I wonder if the increased RAM makes a big difference for me, since I have over a thousand calendar and contact items in there and surf with multiple tabs all the time. Maybe not, who knows. Is it worthwhile to give it a good long first charge, or is that only for NIMH and NICAD batteries?
  23. My local store manager said he'd call me if he got a bottle. He did not. Edit: 1 bottle left! She's holding it for me! Thanks for the tip!
  24. Nice job, Fitz! I'm impressed you can repair anything in a car these days, they're so complicated any more!
  25. Wouldn't dry ice just sublimate and not affect the drink's flavor if you put it directly in the drink? I was thinking more that you could use these substances to chill the soap stone without shattering it.
