  1. Madison is nice. Check out Nostrano restaurant, if you have a chance.
  2. Better read with more cachaca.
  3. Congrats all around!
  4. Disappointing, hoping for some complex anatomical lesson on thorax vs. hips, pelvis, evolution of, ontogeny, phylogeny, etc ... But 'bugs have an ass' is good, too. Sorry about your bad bike ride. It'll get better!
  5. Don't quit your day job, Mike! Here's hoping that Bryan doesn't have a bug's ass stuck in his eye ball!
  6. Hiliarious. Leave it to Steve to see the different point of view. Although ... do bugs really have asses? Will have to ask morphsci about that ...
  7. That sucks. I can get you your own eye patch, if you want.
  8. Ooh. Sounds exciting!
  9. Agree with KG. Yes, as long as you're here, just go for it and go to Alinea. Some say it's the best restaurant in the country! (Gourmet mag? Can't recall.) Everest - very nice, though I can't say I loved it. And KG - as a traditional classic French lover, isn't that more Alsatian than classic French? This month's issue of Chicago mag voted this as best new restaurant in Chicago. Haven't been there, but it's on my list (of restaurants that I never get a chance to go to, but really, really want to.) http://www.goosefoot.net/
  10. Iberico is great, though haven't been in a long time. Have wanted to get to Girl and the Goat, but can never get in. I've heard it's doable if you go at odd hours, like really early or late. Frontera/Topolo are nice ... good margeritas! Trotters would be nice before it closes... might stretch the budget a bit though. I feel bad, I used to know all the restaurants, but since having kids, I am so not hip to that any more.
  11. Check out Blue Train, Giant Steps, My Favorite Things. Also Soultrane, Gentle Side of ... are very nice.
  12. Best wishes and prayers for HC Dads!
  13. Happy Birthday, KG! A nice pour of a very high proof bourbon, perhaps?!
  14. Go Shelly! Good job! Sorry Dan, that sucks. Al, that's a really cool pic.
  15. Damn Meyers and Briggs ... they forgot to include the all important whisky indicator.
  16. It looks like you're only slightly extroverted, so that kind of makes sense. To a profound introvert like me, I'll bet you seem very extroverted!
  17. Wow, scary stuff. Glad you're ok, Jacob! Weird migraines are really tough to figure out. They sometimes end up in my office after another doc just kind of gives up and figures it's psychiatric. Then I scratch my head a bit, decide that it's not psychiatric, and send them on to a headache specialist. Good luck with that, hope it doesn't happen again.
  18. INTJ very expressed introvert distinctively expressed intuitive personality moderately expressed thinking personality moderately expressed judging personality When my wife took this many years ago, she was a mixed introvert/extrovert. When she took it more recently, she become much more introverted. Probably burned out from seeing too many patients. Interesting that it can change over time, though.
  19. Cool pic, Chris! Mike, wow, that's amazing. I don't do that when I go for a serious, once in a year run!
