Part of being a friend and insider in any club is taking and giving shit to each other. Mexican Dragon and cetoole are two of the most loved people here. They get more shit thrown their way than anyone. Absorbine_Sr and Aura make Asian jokes at me, and it's funny because there's an inside joke that only we get. I'd be pissed at anyone else, but from them it's funny. Grawk has defended you in other areas here, and teased you for funny aspects of your personality. It's funny, because he's your friend, and you take shit from your friends, and laugh with them, even if it's at your own expense. If you can't laugh at yourself with friends, then when can you laugh? And laughing with friends is good for you. It's what life is all about. Take it easy, don't take yourself so seriously. It was more of a love slap in the face. Take it that way. Life will be easier, trust me.

Also, the material is waterproof, which is nice. I've only had it a few months, but it seems pretty durable. The only thing I don't like is that the material itself is not very attractive. It's kind of plain and blah. You don't feel warm and fuzzy handling it, like with a good quality leather. But strictly from a utilitarian point of view, it's good.

I have a big, round Honeywell from 6-7 years ago. But it's a little loud, and would like something quieter since I sleep with it on. I'm not sure if it's possible to be quieter, since you have to move air somehow. If there's someone that measured decibel levels for good HEPA filter machines, that might be worth looking at. I'm pretty sure carbon filters are to remove odors, and nothing else. I don't think it'll help the mold in any way.

Sorry to hear it, Larry. Awful stuff. I think you need a pain management specialist. Fibromyalgia and a serious injury from a MVA with continued significant pain which isn't controlled by usual pain treatments? Definitely, a pain management specialist.

My parents went out of their way to find such places.

My carbon steel pan blistered and a few chunks of seasoning came off. This was after rinsing without soap and then heating and applying oil. During the heating, some of the seasoning started blistering and coming off down to bare metal. There was nothing unusual done, nothing acidic, just white rice and some veggies, no tomatoes. Any suggestions as to the cause and whether I should scrape it down to bare metal and restart? Or do I just heat, apply oil and keep going?

This was laggy on my 5 year old Mac mini. YMMV. Definitely do the trial prior to purchase.

I think I've finally got this jacuzzi thing down. Thanks to Mike_sr! Made a pork steak and used the juice to make a vermouth mushroom sauce . It was really good. The first time I was really happy with it! Also Brazilian style collard greens. Edit: what a shitty photographer I have. I need to hire a new one.
