I put it on like two thick textbooks while I wasn't wearing it to stretch it out a bit, that helped a bit, but I think wearing it many times helped it the most.

Sweet, did you work on the design? I wanted to go to the Air Force when I was in middle school or so...really would be sweet to fly fighter jets.

I like Slackware Linux and I use Fluxbox as my window management on my Linux desktop back home. I didn't like Gnome or KDE.

I use the AKG K271S the most at school and I love them, although it's true that they are bass shy. I got a Zu Mobius cable and it significantly helped in the bass area.

I'm going to second this, the internal DAC on the AEX may not be the best, but it sounds pretty darn good for how much it costs. I have an optical cable going to a DAC-AH, but I was really happy with just the AEX before I got the DAC-AH.
