  1. I'm so glad everyone is OK! That us scary shit to say the least.
  2. Happy Birthday guys!
  3. Based on what I have read, if I were in your position, I would get the SRM-323s. Accoding the Spritzer the little amp 252s is very good and cheap but I believe it has a wall wart which might bother you. If you are interested in buying one new, Justin/Headamp sells them cheaper than Elusive Disk (same price as Yama) and ships fast. http://www.headamp.com/order/index.htm
  4. Ha, that's assuming I want to sell...
  5. OK, doesn't sound like there is any reason to get the 207 then.
  6. Oops, yeah, in Houston. I guess I didn't think about whether you'd be interested in hearing it. Maybe I just like to mess with you. Nah, just getting old and forgetful.
  7. Cheese is back! I was thinking about this thread.
  8. Birgir (and others): What is your thought on 207 vs 404LE and 323S vs 252S? I have a 404LE at home and have thought about getting a 323S or 252S to use with it for the office. Also, is the 207 better, worse or just different than the 404LE? I know you like the 207 quite a bit. Also curious about the comfort level of 207 vs 404LE. Do they use a different headband? The 404LE have leather earpads which should probably help with comfort.
  9. Awesome Mike!!!
  10. Sure, they won't pay that much though. There will probably be more bills, usually doctors and hospitals bill separately, and then there is the anesthesiologist...
  11. Simply thrilling Grahame!
  12. I'm hungry, I want the bacon
  13. Figured out how to wire it up (the wires go straight across, not crossed). Got the Dremel tool out and cut apart the HD580 drivers. Not the smoothest cut but it'll do I think. Now I just need to wire it up. That will have to wait for another day though.
  14. That's my guess. Use it to make fresh grenadine! Edit: Jim just beat me to it.
  15. Seems you are right Ric. Perhaps I should take a better look at the OS then. I wonder if Amazon will view Netflix as enough of a threat to kill the Netflix app on the amazon App Store...
  16. Hmm, the Kindle Fire HDX looks pretty nice. I wonder if I should wait to see if there are any Black Friday deals before buying.
  17. I didn't realize that it was different now. I tried one of the original Kindle Fires and the UI was horrible. I became quickly frustrated even doing simple tasks. I might take a look at them now that the OS is different. There have been many reports of the touchscreen not responding to touches on the screen and many other things. The newest update to Android seems to have fixed most of the problems but there are people who still have problems even after the update. I just don't want to deal with that. http://www.gottabemobile.com/2013/11/17/nexus-7-2013-android-4-4-kitkat-first-impressions/ I was also looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
  18. It's not Android.
  19. I would like to get a cheap Android tablet to watch Netflix while on the spinning bike or elliptical machine at the gym. Nexus 7 (2013) seems to have touchscreen problems so I went even cheaper and started looking at the ASUS MeMOPad HD 7-Inch 16 GB Tablet. Is there anything better around this price point $129 (let stick with brands I've actually heard of).
  20. Cool, I love that stuff but find it too salty as well. Must try. I assume you took the seeds out of the jalapeno first?
  21. Happy Birthday JP!
  22. Nevermind, I think I can figure this out with a multimeter.
  23. There are 3 outside compartments that are easily accessible. The one on the flap, and the two small ones on the side/front (and the pocket in back). Those small pockets towards the side aren't good for good but the side pockets are great for small items like small phone (like an iPhone), iems, etc. The front pocket good is good for other things (it holds more than it looks like it will hold in the pictures). That said, if you wanted to get something bigger out, you would have to pick up the flap. It fits under the seat fine (of course, I'm only 5'2" so you can't really trust me about leg room).
  24. What about the ID? It is awesome and fits the MBP 15" really well. It holds a bit more than the Zephry and is slightly lighter. You do have to lift up the flap to get the laptop out (and I use a skin with the laptop for padding) but I view the flap as extra rain protection. Also, it has a water bottle holder which for me is a must (although it doesn't look as professional because of it). The Cadet does have rail loops though which makes it more like the Checkpoint Flyer. I think Dinny has the Cadet. It doesn't seem to hold that much though.
  25. Hmm, I'm not sure how I feel about this...
