  1. Thanks Carl but I ended up getting an HD Fire HD during the Cyber Monday deal for cheap.
  2. OK, that makes sense. Do the new Art Sigmas (like the 35/1.4) tend to have this problem?
  3. ^Yep, I totally agree. I feel that my shoulders problems are partly do to overworking certain muscles in the past (with lots of benchpress and military press) and not doing enough back and back of shoulder exercises to keep everything in balance.
  4. I assume the Sigma lens from lensrentals should be free of focusing issues, right (or else they would have sent it back)?
  5. That is a lens that I have thought of buying for the future so it might be a good idea so I can try it out.
  6. Has anyone here used LensRentals.com before? As you may or may not know, we got bed bugs this year and aren't sure they are gone yet. There is probably very little chance they are in the lens and camera but I don't really want to take a chance and take it to my parents house for Christmas. So I was thinking of renting a camera and lens for 3-4 days (with picked up locally or shipped to my parents house in Fontana, CA). This would also give the added benefit of trying out a FF camera to see if I want to go that way or not. I am not sure if I can find a place to rent locally so I was thinking of having something shipped there. LensRentals.com seems to be a reputable place so I was wondering if anyone had used them and what they thought. I was thinking of renting the D610 and Nikon 35 f/1.4 (unless there is another lens that would be better for mostly indoors photos). The other option is that I buy a D7100 (which is what I am leaning towards since I don't think I want to go down the FF road and but good FF lenses) and have it shipped to my parents. I guess I can buy another 35mm f/1.8G or 50mm f/1.8D and then just sell it for a small loss. I think that 50mm f/1.8 would be too long for indoor photos. The other option is that I can borrow my friend's 18-55 kit lens for free but I think that wouldn't be the best lens for indoors.
  7. It shouldn't matter when they bill you/insurance company, only the date of service should matter. So you shouldn't have to pay your deductible again. Of course, if you have PT or follow up appointments, you will have to continue to pay since they will have a different service date. Also beware of bills that the hospital may send you saying that certain things weren't paid by the insurance and now you are responsible for them. You may not be responsible for them.
  8. I started off the season with a worse record than the Texans (1-4). Somehow my crappy team still managed to make it into third place with a record of 7-5-1, even with that damn tie against Bryan in week 7! It helped that Brady started playing football at some point in the season. Oh, any thanks to Alshon Jefferey this week.
  9. Not really a turkey fan so we are having jambalaya, braised short ribs, rotisserie chicken and sides. I better start cooking.
  10. I'm so glad everyone is OK! That us scary shit to say the least.
  11. Based on what I have read, if I were in your position, I would get the SRM-323s. Accoding the Spritzer the little amp 252s is very good and cheap but I believe it has a wall wart which might bother you. If you are interested in buying one new, Justin/Headamp sells them cheaper than Elusive Disk (same price as Yama) and ships fast. http://www.headamp.com/order/index.htm
  12. Ha, that's assuming I want to sell...
  13. OK, doesn't sound like there is any reason to get the 207 then.
  14. Oops, yeah, in Houston. I guess I didn't think about whether you'd be interested in hearing it. Maybe I just like to mess with you. Nah, just getting old and forgetful.
