I have the Rocksmith game but have only played it once. The thing I don't like about it (at least at the beginning is that it doesn't tell you what you are going to playing ahead of time which makes it a bit more like a video game). I find watching you tube videos more helpful. Perhaps there is a bit more to the game than I have seen. I have a friend that is using it to learn to play guitar and loves it. I do love my (cheapo Korean made) PRS Custom 24 SE guitar. I would love to have a on non-SE one. But yeah, you're just going to have to go to the store, try some guitars and see how they feel in your hand Jeff.

Spent my first Christmas alone. It wasn't really too bad; I went to a movie and cooked a nice meal. I was hoping to get more work done but people kept calling me.

Wanted to make some of these for Christmas tomorrow but I forgot the goat cheese. I am not sure it it worth braving the store today to get it... I suppose I could substitute feta.

Based on the excitement of Panny plasmas here, we bought my mother and father in-law one for Christmas about 3 years ago. It had a very nice picture but they just called us and told us they have green and red horizontal lines across the screen. I don't suppose there is an easy fix for this. So my first experience with Pansonic plasmas is not very good. I suppose with the lack of quality control over products nowadays, one should just expect a certain percentage of consumer electronics to die within a few years.

The Fujitsu Q704 is finally available for purchase in the US. I am thinking of getting this over the Surface Pro 2. Fujitsu computers aren't the cheapest but they've been building tablets for a while and know what they are doing. A friend of mine (in the next office over) has a Surface Pro 2 and he is finding a lot of small annoying issues with the Surface Pro 2 especially involving the Type keyboard 2 and pen. I changed my Christmas Lensrentals rental to the Sigma 18-35/1.8 to test out with the my new D7100. This will probably be better indoors than a 35mm on DX.

Yeah, that is what I am thinking. If I go to FX, the Sigma 35 f/1.4 would be nice but who knows when that will happen and who knows what the new FX lens by Nikon will be.
