  1. What happened to the old Daniel Tiger in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe???
  2. "CC: How will PonoMusic, the Pono online store, be different from sites like HDtracks, or will it be different? NY: I don't know what the HDtracks store is like. The Pono Store will be the Pono Store. We sell stuff that is Pono. It's the best that's available. Period." This just seems weird. Neil Yound is building this product but doesn't know what HDtracks is like?

Thanks, that worked. I did not have to enter a cc.
  4. Unfortunately, I go to the university gym so about 90% of the people there have incorrect (really bad) form - it is hard to not say something to them. They do have a couple of trainers and I think one of them is pretty good so that is an option. If I end up going back to the physical therapist, I can ask one of the trainers there.
  5. I have a feeling that it is more to do with my lack of flexibility in my hip (which was made worse after having a surgery) than form. I just don't think it is good for me to be doing back squats with this problem especially at my age. It really sucks but I am tired of inuries.
  6. Yesterday at the gym, I tried pushing myself to go a little lower than I have been going (to parallel) and did back squats instead of front squats. Bad decision, I feel that I may have re-injured my piriformis muscle - I originally injured it doing physical therapy about 4 months after my surgery. What is worse it that today I woke up with some pain and inflammation around the hip (which I also happened to get when I injured my piriformis before). I am hoping that it isn't major and that rest and ice will help. I am so fucking tired of being injured and going to doctors/physical therapy. I suppose I should just stick with light weight front squats for the rest of my life.
  7. Emotiva seems to have changed the Airmotivs a bit. New look, hopefully same or similar sound. They did go up in price a bit and no longer have a volume control. http://shop.emotiva.com/collections/speakers/products/airmotiv-4s
  8. I just don't like spending $600+ on a quad of tubes that could go bad at any point.
  9. Ok, gotcha. Get the SED's, don't get the SED's... Get the JJ's, don't get the JJs... By the way, are people talking about the JJ Tesla Blue Glass or something else? Also, Brent Jesse carries some of the SED's that are have been "burned in." Do you think this would be better to get to avoid bad tubes or is this a gimmick? EL34/6CA7 Winged C SED, new current production, Pre-burned in.MATCHED PAIR New production tubes! Very cool, very sweet sounding SED tubes from St. Petersburg, Russia that have been burned in for maximum stability and best tone! These tubes are smoother than most current production tubes, at a cost sure to please. You would pay much more for hand selected, custom pre-aged tubes like these if you could even find them! Carefully matched into pairs or quads.
  10. I've only used Noodler's Ink but I like it.
  11. Should the tubes be matched pairs or a matched quad and how much does a well matched pair/quad actually matter?
  12. That's good to know. Also, found the you tube video, thanks.
  13. So, it seems that BHSEs may start shipping soon. I'm thinking of getting a quad of matched SED Winged C EL-34 for now. I know that the NOS Mullard XF2 are supposed to be better but I just don't have the time or money for the hunt right now. Any reason I should just stick with the stock for now and/or get something else (that isn't $$$$). http://www.upscaleaudio.com/svetlana-sed-winged-c-el34/ Also, any links/words of wisdom about biasing when changing tubes? Is there a better place to buy from besides upscale audio (I don't know anything about them)? What about: http://www.amazon.com/Winged-EL34-Vacuum-Tube-Matched/dp/B004I4HI6I http://www.thetubestore.com/Tubes/EL34-6CA7-Tube-Types/Winged-C-SED-EL34
  14. Happy Birthday Al - I'll be toasting you tonight!!!
  15. Just finished Michael Connelly's The Gods of Guilt. I hate to admit it, but I love Michael Connelly's books. I'm trying to find similar author for my nighttime reading (to help me get to sleep).
  16. ^Very similar to my dinner (animal style + bacon though)!
  17. Same here but this was mostly because of having an astigmatism and not wanting to do anything but 1-day contacts. I now see that both Dailie and Acuvue have 1-day contacts for people with an astigmatism so maybe I should try them again.
  18. Let's hope they don't get the spinning ball of death in the middle.
