    Mattresses

Unfortunately, I don't know that I have a place to air dry it. I have a auto-dampness setting on my dryer but often things are still damp when it stops (if the load is full). I also read somewhere where someone said it really stunk when they first got there's (I haven't opened it up yet). Do you remember a weird smell at first?

    Mattresses

I purchased this protector and got it delivered today. I was planning to wash and dry it before using it. How do you know when the mattress protector is fully dry (the directions say to take it out as soon as it is fully dry)? I obviously don't want to put a partially wet protector on the bed and also don't want to overdry and ruin the wool.
  3. I ordered one yesterday (the compact one with the odor/gas filter - I decided that it is good to be able to smell odors because sometimes they are a good warning, also it is a bit smaller). It at least has to work better than the Winix I have right now.
  4. Don't worry, I ate food today (breakfast and lunch). I'm feeling a bit better emotionally although I am not feeling well physically...
  5. +sub then Can't wait to own a house again so I can buy one of these two and a sub. I am not going to listen to the frozen soundtrack though...
  6. Haha. Yeah, I didn't really "forget." I kept meaning to eat but just didn't feel like it. I meant to get something on the way over to the apartment and I did forget to do that. I've just been feeling pretty down for the last 1-2 weeks and haven't felt much like eating. I'm sure it will pass and I'll start eating too much again though.
  7. Peanut butter because I forgot to eat dinner and all I have at the apartment is PB, beer, wine, and scotch. I really need to go shopping.
  8. The HF5 sound better than the ER6i IMO though (although it's been a long time since I have owned the ER6i).
  9. ^They don't make those anymore.
  10. The Kilpsch X10 are great and very very comfortable. The first pair I had for a couple of years but sold them to a friend. I bought a second pair at some point and they were very poorly made (they cut in and out on both ears if you wiggled them). I read that a lot of the ones made at that time also had these problems. I would not but another pair unless I knew for sure that they fixed these problems.
  11. I would also get the Etymotic HF5 at that price point. I got them for Tim and they sounded pretty good (not as good as the ER4P but not that far off).
  12. I'm thinking of updating the OS on my early 2009 Mac Mini (2.26 Intel Core 2 Duo). I just use it as a music server for my headphone setup. I have Snow Leopard still on it but I can't run Tidal with SL. Would it be stupid to update to El Capitan (lots of speed increases over Yosemite I have read) or should I just install Mountain Lion on it?
  13. What size rooms were you using this in? I plan to use this in my living room during the day and bedroom at night. I like the fact that the IQAir has prefilters for things like dust and that you don't have to change the HEPA filter as much as the BlueAirs. Also, I am not sure about the electrostatic filters in the BlueAir. However, this site claims that the IQAir can only be used in a room no larger than 260 sqft. They say the BlueAir can be used in rooms up to 400 sqft. "HealthPro Plus is perfect for most bedrooms, no bigger than 260 square feet." http://www.air-purifier-power.com/top-10-air-purifiers.html Also, how good are the casters on the IQair? People complained that they were pretty crappy.

They could make a lot more money if they had just called it the LCD-10

    I like the ECP amp!
  17. Probably - I wasn't too worried, it was just weird since most of the headaches I get are on the right temple.
  18. There was a weird thing that happened. Right after dinner, I got a sudden strong headache (in the back of my head) but it went away after about 5 minutes. I think it may have been from the smoke from someone grilling on a hot stone in the place. Maybe it was just allergies or maybe I am sick, who knows. If it happens the next time I eat sushi, I'll take notice.
  19. For the last six months, I've been trying to get myself to like fish/seafood. Up to this point, I've shared seafood appetizers with others and tried someone's fish or seafood dish if they were willing to share. I decided that it was time for me to try sushi (I've always liked the idea of sushi and have wanted to eat it or years). I went to Uchi hour with a friend of mine and I had the following: 1 akami (tuna loin) nigiri 1 sake (fresh atlantic salmon) nigiri 1 hamachi (baby yellowtail) nigiri 2 madai (japanese sea bream) nigiri crispy brussel sprouts with lemon chili katsu pork belly, yolk custard, espelette smoked baby yellowtail with yucca crisp and marcona almond It was all really excellent (much better than cooked fish) and I should have tried this years ago! http://uchirestaurants.com/houston/ (I forgot to take a picture of a lot of the food before eating it).
