  1. Just saw your post Brent (don't know how I missed it before), congrats!
  2. Mine finally says "IN TRANSIT TO HOUSTON, TX US" on iship.com. Needless to say, I am going to be one very unhappy camper if the UPS gal/guy does not show up tomorrow...
  3. Good Luck Stephen!

  9. Oh sure Steve, women love that!
  10. Cool, I have been enjoying the compact size of my ZS3.
  11. Got fitted for contact lenses today! No more glasses.
  12. To keep this thread going, I decided to post my Sazerac recipe which happens to be pretty similar to Morphsci's. Sazerac: 2 ounces of Rye (I usually use Sazerac 6yr) Absinthe (I have been using St. George) 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters 2 dashes Angostura bitters 1/4 ounces of simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water) 2 large ice cubes lemon peel In a medium sized glass, simple sugar, bitters, rye and ice cubes. Stir until chilled. In another glass (small old fashioned or something similar), pour a small amount of absinthe and swirl to coat the inside and bottom. (You are supposed to dump out the excess but I usually don't as long as I don't pour too much). Strain rye mixture into glass, twist lemon peel over drink (add peel to the drink if you so desire). Enjoy!

  14. Happy Birthday Apple.
  15. No way, they don't even ship until April 3rd.
  16. Ah sorry... didn't express my interest properly. I need something I can use for handwritten notes (will be writing math with lots of pictures), just don't need to convert to text.
  17. Got a Pogo Sketch for the Ipad. Now I need to find a note taking program (don't need/want handwriting recognition). Just something to scribble notes down on.
  18. Good news on the Quad 12L's. Lane is going to swap out the noisy speaker with another! Hell yeah.... cause I like em!
  19. Mine is in Kentucky too! China to Alaska to Kentucky doesn't seem like the best way to get to from China to Houston. Hope mine didn't hooked up with the party travel team.... Edit: Just say Nate's post - phew.
  20. Don't think they are counterfeit but I guess you never know... if there are then there may be quite a few other angry head-casers here as well. Mike: Did you get your yet? I cannot remember who else bought a pair.
  21. Thanks. I cannot move the speakers much but I do think the 12L's are shielded. The big problem is that I am getting noise (much more out of one that the other) no matter where I plug them in the house (away from computers, etc.), with no source, and with no volume. I can live with the slight hum I hear from the "left" speaker but the "hiss" that I get from the right speaker is driving my nuts. I have contacted Lane so we'll see what he says. Thanks for all the help.
  22. Nate: The volume doesn't effect the noise. I can hear the noise with the volume at minimum (all the way down). When I did play music through them, I didn't listen over 25% (9 o'clock on the dial).
