Two Zero Surge surge protectors (one for the computer setup and one for the TV setup) and a Belkin ipad sleeve.

Finally gave up and bought a Belkin Pleat Sleeve for the ipad (they were out of the Belkin Vue and Grip sleeves at amazon). I still am going to get the Apple case when they are back in stock. I just got tired of carrying the ipad in a pillow case. Does anyone know if the Belkin case will hold the Apple case (with the ipad inside)?

The plan is for us is to at least bike to work (when it isn't pouring rain) since we work < 2 miles away from our house.

Dan: I am trying to use the down arrow in issh (key pie menu). I noticed that it was set to 0x0 initially, I changed it to 0xff54 but it won't save as that and goes back to 0x0. Do you know how to fix this. I geel like I am being really stupid.

I agree Mike. I bought 3 difference VNC apps and this is how I rank them: iTeleport > Desktop Connect >> iSSH (for VNC) The iSSH is very nice for SSH though and I am very happy with that part of the program. It is slightly easier to connect using Desktop Connect than iTeleport but once connected, iTeleport seems to work a little better. As for File Managing software, I decided to get GoodReader in addition to ReaddleDocs. My ranking: ReaddleDocs >>>> GoodReader I was able to easily upload a large directory of pdfs with ReaddleDocs via Wifi. I still haven't been able to upload more than a file at a time with GoodReader. I think one may be able to do this but I gave up and deleted GoodReader before I figured it out. I also didn't like the looks of GoodReader.

Anyone know a good text editor for the ipad, like iaquamacs or something?

One of my friends had an iPad with the Apple case today. The case seemed pretty nice... a lot better than the fancy iPad pillow case that I am using right now. Unfortunately it seems that they are out of the Apple cases at the local store.

Ride - Going Blank Again

I was having no problems at home. However, I was having some trouble with the signal in my office. I don't use wireless there very often so it could just be a weak signal. It seemed to be fine in the hall.

I saw GoodReader but decided to go with ReaddleDocs because it looked a little nicer. Since GR is only $0.99, I will probably buy it to see which I like better.

I was searching for a way to transfer pdfs from my computer to the ipad (or download from a browser) for offline use. Went through downloader and icab browser - both of which I was not too impressed. Just bought ReaddleDocs for ipad (Readdle) and it is really nice. Highly recommended if you need a document/file manager.
