I would be willing to pitch in for the HC suite.
  2. Sure, Shure. I have owned both the Shure and D2000. I have thought about buying another pair of the Shures. I cannot see myself buying the D2000 again. With that said, the coiled cord on the Shures drove me crazy.

Made my reservations a while ago but forgot to post here. Arriving early evening on Thursday and leaving Sunday late afternoon.

According to urbandictionary.com (definition 5), you are the coolest: Urban Dictionary: nate
  5. The Mercury Program - From the Vapor of Gasoline
  6. The Cure - Disintegration
  7. To be fair, I never owned the D7000's, only tried a pair at CanJam after having owned a pair of D2000 for some time. Basically, I didn't feel that they were that much better than the D2000. If you are interested, I would be happy to lend you my DX1000's.
  8. Dinny, I would go for the DX1000 or Shure SRH840 over the D7000. Of course, this is assuming you cannot find a mint CD3000. I should also tell you that you are going to be disappointed in all of these choices and just stick the JH13's in your ears. Since I got the JH13's, my closed headphones have seen very little use.
  9. Welcome back Dusty! I will second the Victory Storm King.
  10. Sucks about all the changes Marc and good luck!
  11. I assume so since Sprint has pretty good coverage in Houston but I wasn't paying much attention to the connection on the phone.
  12. Good stuff there Ken and Mike.
  13. Used the iPad in the car yesterday (I was not driving of course) with Pre. Except for streaming video, it seemed to work well - though on bumpy roads, I mistyped many letters. Tried watching the red sox game on MLB at bat and the video was pretty choppy. I don't know if that had to do with the fact that I was using 3G or because I was in a moving vehicle using 3G.
  14. I went by the local record store today. Saturdays are usual busy there because of the free live music and St. Arnold beer but today was especially crowded. Hopefully them sold some music well.
  15. Will be heading over to Cactus Music today for sure!
  16. Congrats Beefy!
  17. Could this have anything to do with the semi famous local artist?
  18. After the Astros started off the season at 0-7, I decided that I am probably going to need to watch some other teams this season so.... I bought a premium subscription to mlb.tv. Guess I might as well get the mlb.tv ipad app while I am at it.
  19. I need a cat to go with my ipad
  20. Congratulations Brent!
