  1. I was thinking some ciabatta bread would have been nice. I seem to be able to use head-case chat with FF and Snow Leopard. Do you need to allow pop-ups or something like that? I couldn't use Chrome though.
  2. Just finished off my version of a Muffaleta (with some Avalon Cab): Italian Dry Salami, Provolone, Shaved Parmesan, Jalapeno stuffed olives, Texas sweet onions, olive oil, garlic and tomatoes on bread and toasted. Just wished I would have had better bread in the house (only had Oroweat Healthy Nut which is pretty good but got a little soggy).
  3. Sadly, the closest thing I have to a game is "Crosswords."
  4. Setlist from Houston (found this here, seems about right). [First set: The Incident] Occam's Razor The Blind House Great Expectations Kneel and Disconnect Drawing the Line The Incident Your Unpleasant Family The Yellow Windows of the Evening Train Time Flies Degree Zero of Liberty Octane Twisted The S
  5. That sucks Vicki. Just got back from a Porcupine Tree concert... it was full of awesomeness!
  6. I may give Inkscape another chance at some point. I think it has potential. Edit: If you were speaking of ipad Illustrator-like apps, yeah, I don't think there are any.
  7. I'm running Window 7 on my tablet.... it is much better than XP or Vista.
  8. I already have a Motion Computing LE1700 tablet pc. Don't know if I really want another Windows machine. If I could find an Illustrator alternative that I liked, I would be perfectly happy with that running Xournal on Linux. Just not too happy running Windows.
  9. Thanks for the heads up about Penultimate Mike. Just downloaded it. What it really needs to be useful (for me) is color, different size erasers, ability to highlight and move things, and copy/paste. Guess I just want the ipad to have a digitizer and Windows Journal for Apple - I won't hold my breath.
  10. ReaddleDocs = good Goodreader = not so good Seriously, spend the few extra dollars on ReaddleDocs, it is much simpler to use than Goodreader. For example, it is really really easy to move an entire folder of documents in ReaddleDocs, not as easy in Goodreader. It is easy to use ReaddleDocs to download a file from the web (probably can also do this on Goodreader also, didn't try it out).
  11. I like that picture Reks. I guess I falsely assumed that Cincinnati was completely flat... that is embarrassing.
  12. Sent out rejection letters for the summer high school math program for women that I run. I should have sent them out with the acceptances a couple of weeks ago but kept putting it off. I find it very painful to send these emails and really should get one of the grad students who works in the program to do it for me in the future. Now let's hope I don't get any calls from the parents.
  13. David Gray - White Ladder Damn this album sounds good with the JH13's!!! http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51lU8o2nXuL._SS500_.jpg

    Canjam 2010.

I would be willing to pitch in for the HC suite.
  15. Sure, Shure. I have owned both the Shure and D2000. I have thought about buying another pair of the Shures. I cannot see myself buying the D2000 again. With that said, the coiled cord on the Shures drove me crazy.

    Canjam 2010.

Made my reservations a while ago but forgot to post here. Arriving early evening on Thursday and leaving Sunday late afternoon.

    Canjam 2010.

According to urbandictionary.com (definition 5), you are the coolest: Urban Dictionary: nate
  18. The Mercury Program - From the Vapor of Gasoline
  19. To be fair, I never owned the D7000's, only tried a pair at CanJam after having owned a pair of D2000 for some time. Basically, I didn't feel that they were that much better than the D2000. If you are interested, I would be happy to lend you my DX1000's.
  20. Dinny, I would go for the DX1000 or Shure SRH840 over the D7000. Of course, this is assuming you cannot find a mint CD3000. I should also tell you that you are going to be disappointed in all of these choices and just stick the JH13's in your ears. Since I got the JH13's, my closed headphones have seen very little use.
