  4. Went shopping for a new refrigerator this morning. We wanted to get a french door style fridge but the only one that would fit in our space was an LG 19.7 cu. ft. which seemed kinda small. Ended up buying a 23.3 cu. ft. Kenmore Elite Stainless Steel side by side to replace the one that broke and a mini Kenmore 2.4 cu. ft. fridge to use for the next week while we wait for the real one.
  5. The floor will be ok most of the water was in the rug in front of the fridge (which we will cover up with another rug). It is going to be PITA to find a new fridge that we like and will fit in the space we have. Guess we will be eating out for a while.

  13. @Jim: Yeah, that drink sounds pretty weird. I've decided to just wait and buy a bottle of Punt e Mes. Thanks for the testing Jim. Translation: This drinks sucks?
  14. Jim: A taste test would be much appreciated. I made another Chrysanthemum, this time with 1oz Dolin Blanc and 1oz Dolin Dry. Interestingly enough, I thought it was mediocre and didn't have the qualities that made the first two shine. As the drinks are warming up, I am preferring the one made with Dolin Dry.
  15. *Anvil Hour* Made two versions of the Chrysanthemum Cocktail , one with Dolin Dry and a sweeter one with Dolin Blanc. I made the one Dolin Blanc first and thought it was good but maybe a little too sweet. Then I made the "original" with Dolin Dry and thought it was better. However, going back and forth between the two, I think I prefer the sweeter Dolin Blanc. They are both really good though. Next time I will have to try 1/2 Blanc and 1/2 Dry. Cheers!   16. Question for Jim and Al (and perhaps others): I was planning on making a Red Hook but it calls for Punt e Mes and I don't have any. Would it be reasonable to add some Campari or to Carpano Antica to substitute Punt e Mes (something like 1:1 or 1:2 Campari to Carpano ratio)?
