Made something in between an Old Pal and a Manhattan (probably has a name) although much closer to a Manhattan: 1.5 oz Sazerac rye 0.5 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth 0.25 oz Campari 1 dash Cherry bitters It is quite excellent! Didn't have time to take pictures though... too much work tonight.

^^^This!!! I wanted to make a cocktail tonight but my hubby used all the ice from my mini ice tray for his birch beer! Grrrrrrr (quoting Brent).

I would love to have a nice carryon instead of the stupid small roller bag that I have. I have been going back and forth between the different Red Oxx and Tom Bihn bags... just cannot decide. I think I have narrowed it down to the SkyTrain and the TriStar. I like the design of the TriStar but think it might be a too small for my needs.

Definitely wouldn't like having displays stacked vertically... nor different sizes!

Apple displays are pretty so there. I was upset to find out that they had discontinued their smaller displays. I actually really like using two 20" displays. I am not sure that a single (or two) 27" displays would be as nice.

Al: That looks good - I need to get some Aperol. Marc: Also looks good. I wish I had ice cubes. I tried putting the mini ice tray that came with the mini fridge in the "freezer" today. We'll see if it makes ice or slushy water. For now, I am finishing off a bottle of Courvoisier VSOP to make moar room for moar stuff.

Nothing tonight since I stayed out way too late last night and had too much Thomas Handy and Sazerac 18! Marc: If you find yourself in Houston, I could give you some of the ingredients you need (if you supply the baby food jars ) like Cherry Herring, Ransom Old Tom Gin, Creme de Violette, Curacao (I have the one died orange not blue though), Chartreuse. Glad you like the Casa Noble!

Nice Jim. I will certainly pick up some glasses at the gift shop. My second drink (Thomas Handy neat) made up for the watery Sazerac - the bartender poured me quite a generous pour!!!
