^This Do tell Jim! Nice rye night! Looks like it is time to get some more WT.

Looks nice Mike! I am still heavily leaning towards the Aeronaut. The only thing I fear is that I would overstuff it so it was bulging and then they won't let me take it on the plane since it was larger than the "maximum" carry-on (this would be more likely to happen to someone like me because the bag would look bigger on me, being 5'2", than a normal to large sized male). Now that I write this, I realize that I worry way too much.

*Anvil time* Now that I have some Punt e Mes, I can finally make a proper Red Hook. 2 oz Wild Turkey Rye 1/2 oz Punt e Mes 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur 1 dash Angostura bitters 1 dash Regans orange bitters This drink is full of WIN!

Nice haul of gin Jim! Looking at the knife again, I think I am going to like it a lot.

NY Steak on the BBQ; salad with roasted beets, tomatoes, goat cheese, chopped mesquite roasted cashews, and homemade dijon/sherry vinegrette, baked potato with sour cream and butter (unfortunately, I forgot to make the bacon for bacon bits!) With a glass of 2008 Durigutti Malbec No time for picture though... it's about time to eat! Edit: Dinner was great, except I overcooked the steak, dammit! (I closed the lid since it was cold outside which caused the steak to cook a lot of faster than I anticipated). It was still very tasty. The Malbec was very good with the dinner. By the way, if anyone is interested in some good and reasonably price steak knives, I can wholeheartly recommend the Forschner rosewood handle straight edge steak knives, I have been using them for a couple of months and they are really nice.

The Malbec was pretty nice, not enough to go out and buy a case but still good for the price ($13). Jacob's knife addiction is contagious. I wanted to get a wa-gyoto style knife so with Jacob's help, I ordered a JCK Inazuma 240mm Wa-Gyoto. Seems like good knife for the price. Although, I hope it doesn't look quite as gaudy in person.

Got our new refrigerator installed (after over two weeks of waiting)!!!

My first Armagnac (Cerbois VSOP), Punt e Mes, Aperol, and a few bottles of 2008 Durigutti Malbec (which made it on WS's list of top 100 wines of 2010). Tried to buy the knife that Reks mentioned above but failed - out of stock... maybe forever.

Very cool knife!

Washington merlot, bourbon, and margaritas!

A generous pour of Sazerac 18!

I like Manhattans. That one does not look like fail. Had a DFH 90 minute on tap with my Texas BLT at dinner. Now I am feeling sleepy... guess that could have something to do with a lack of sleep.

Nice Al. Let us know what you think.

Working and drinking Camus. Could you fax me over something Al? Surprise me.

That doesn't sound fun at all.

Call me jealous. They have a nice beer selection and the pizza isn't half bad. Sounds like good company as well.
