Just finished reading/editing my student's PhD thesis, yay (the defense is tomorrow)!

What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Heh, I guess that drink would turn you into a Zombie with both W&N and S&C. What about the Coruba? Nice drink Al and, of course, the kick of gin is approved here.

Happy Birthday!- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
I hope you don't have the weight of the world weighing down on you (since you didn't add a splash of rye). My link- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Stag's Leap makes some nice wine.- And now what did you do TODAY?
Nice view Ken! Good luck with the sale.- Dogum gunun kutlu olsun Sherwood!

Thanks, me too. At least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now it is sleepy time. Nice drinks Al. I would have to agree that that the CR #2 is better (I mean, it is awesome and #1 doesn't sound as awesome or as corpse reviving).- Happy Birthday mulveling

Why the radio?- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Hubby's feeling a bit better today and my guest left this morning, so I am "relaxing" and having a Manhattan (with a dash of cherry bitters) while reading my grad student's PhD thesis.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
How do you like the Miller's Al? I would still like to try it. I have been really busy (with work and playing nurse) so haven't been doing much drinking or mixing. I decided to pour a light drink, Aperol and sparkling water. After having poured the Aperol I realized I was out of sparkling water so I used 7-up instead, it is aweful, don't try it.- Post the last thing you bought!
Mike: You mean they won't let you wear those in the office? We are not even required to wear shoes. Dinny: Awesome! I am loving the Tristar.- Happy birthday dsavitsk!
Happy (very belated) birthday!- Post the last thing you bought!
Another pair? Cool.- Post the last thing you bought!
It is not that I didn't like the XDA-1, it just made it even more difficult for my husband to watch the tv upstairs. I don't listen to music all that often upstairs (especially in summer) and never do any critical listening (usually I am just working with music in the background) so I thought I might try out the Touch.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Heard that is supposed to be decent, worth trying?- Post the last thing you bought!
Yes, itunes + apple lossless.- Post the last thing you bought!
Sent back the Emotiva DAC and got a Squeezbox Touch and Squeezepad! Totally awesome is the phrase I would use to describe it. It is much more responsive than the Airport Express. I planned to use the built in DAC with the Audioengine A5 speakers since I heard it was decent. I haven't tried that out yet though. Now I just need to get two more, one for my main rig and one for the tv setup.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Greg, I like Hop Stoopid but you won't like it.... as you might imagine from the name, it is stupid hoppy.- And now what did you do TODAY?
It is always useful to have a few silver daggers around the house.- What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Water. I am too tired to make myself a drink... in fact, I am too tired to even type this.- And now what did you do TODAY?
Awesome! I spent 2.5 hours with the hubby today at the eye doctor (we were lucky to get an appointment at all before the weekend) and the eye doctor is pretty sure he has shingles and not just a normal viral infection... so I guess I don't have to invest in any silver daggers. It is good to have a little closure. Hopefully starting on the anti-viral meds will keep him from having any permanent damage to the eye (the shingles seemed to have not affected the actual eye yet, just the area around it). Phew. - Happy Birthday Grand Enigma!
