  1. Is it not commonplace to smash windshields?
  2. The one that I really liked was 2007 but I haven't tried the 2008 yet. I think the 2008 is supposed to be very good too. Also, like the Fizz and Romance Jim!
  3. Following Al's lead*, the Romance Cocktail from the Stock Book. Romance Cocktail from the Stork Club book 1/2 oz brandy and curaƧao mixed in equal parts 1/2 oz Amer Picon (Torani Amer) 1/2 oz French vermouth** 1/2 oz Italian vermouth Stir with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. ** I accidentally use Dolin Blanc instead of Dolin Dry - it was still good just a little sweeter than it probably should be. * This drink was awesome and I should have doubled everything like Al.
  4. Very nice Jim! I got my Stork Club book along with a few others in the mail today. First drink from the Stork Club book is the F.B.I. Fizz - pretty nice little drink. 1/2 oz Cherry Heering 1/2 oz Rare Breed Wild Turkey bourbon 1/2 oz Ron Zacapa rum top with soda water
  5. That must have been the problem. I think it is just a tad too warm here to drink Black Forest brandy this time of year.
  6. Poured out the Blackthorn and made myself a Boulevardier: 3/2 oz Rare Breed Wild Turkey (barrel proof) bourbon 1 oz Campari 1 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth Mmmmm much better.
  7. Glad to hear he is ok - that must have been terrifying.
  8. A Blackthorn Cocktail (this one from "Vintage" and quite different from the Anvil-Irish Blackthorn). Not really sure how I feel about this drink yet. 2 oz Old Raj gin 3/4 oz Dubonnet Rouge 3/4 oz Schwarzwalder Kirschwasser
  9. I can offer you no advice (I think phones don't like to go swimming). Just wanted to say that I hope Jack is ok.
  10. Very well IMO. Unfortunately, I haven't found any recently so I won't be able to compare it directly until then.
  11. Nothing wrong with Napa + Cab + ribs! Nice. Yesterday, I found a bunch of Burton Baton I put aside last year.
