A (small) Vieux Carre Can't decide which I like better the VC or Saratoga. Better just drink both.

But he doesn't like the D40x as much so I think I am safe. Seriously though, I assume that the D40x is a decent camera and should be much better/faster than LX5 even though it is a pretty old model.

Refurbished Nikon D40x body from B&H I am thinking that this with the 35mm f/1.8 lens may be small/light enough to carry around everyday and should be much better than the LX5 (and the price seemed pretty good). If anyone thinks this is a ridiculous assumption, please let me know so I can cancel my order. Also, I don't know much about buying refurbished (from manufacturer) camera bodies but assume it should be fine. Edit: Just saw Al's post, very nice!

Finally "got" my order from Adorama for the Mountainsmith Camera Kit Cube that I ordered a month ago to find out that they sent me the Mountainsmith Bike Cube! <sigh> Why is a camera store shipping out bike cubes???

According to amazon, they will be in stock on June 16th. They seem to be in stock at B&H but cost $259 instead of $199 though. You should.

New Macbook Air this Wednesday?

Nice looking drink Jim! Decided to make myself another Saratoga (with Armagnac instead of Cognac). 1 oz Wild Turkey rye 1 oz Cerbois Armagnac VSOP 1 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth* 2 dashes of Angostura bitters This is a most excellent boozy drink. I think next time I will use 3/4 oz Carpano Antica.

Flew back to Houston. Good to be back.

After the game, we all headed over to Bar Agricole for some more cocktail goodness. Rye cocktail (both Al and I had one of of these). Wizz Bang (Ric) Presidente (Tim) My favorite cocktail of the night was definitely the Saratoga.
