  1. 2008 Norton Privada (blend of 40% Malbec, 30% Merlot, and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon) - I do like this a lot, maybe more than than the Norton Reserva.
  2. and two feet and four computers so I could probably do four drafts at once.
  3. Thanks Colin, now I get to pick two in a row in both leagues. I assume the two drafts will be happening at different times... I hope.
  4. Get well Brent!!! I hope things go well. Will send HC biscuit basket!
  5. Jacob: I have a pair of A900ltd which were also slightly blu-tack "modded" and may not be comparable to the A900 at all. I haven't listened to them in a long long long time. However, I think I remember the Shure 840 being quite a bit better than the A900ltd. I only have them because hubby likes to use them (they are super comfy after all).
  6. Paris Manhattan (following Jim) 1 oz Wild Turkey Rare Breed bourbon 3/8 oz St Germain elderflower liqueur 1/4 oz Dolin Dry vermouth 2 dashes Fee Brothers Cherry bitters Not my favorite but not bad (I lowered the amount of Elderflower liqueur). By the way, those are fucking awesome pics and glasses Al!
  7. I recently tried it and did not find it to my liking:
  8. Can't really imagine what blueberries in beer tastes like. Having a Liberal Cocktail with Wild Turkey Rare Breed bourbon.
  9. Please send Shiner back to Texas - we need it for bathing.
  10. I think I will pass on the bed bugs, but I appreciate the thought.
  11. I'll let you know when I need carts of water shipped in. I am thinking baby wipes, bottled water and paper plates should keep me afloat for a while.
  12. I will have to try a knot theory and see if it helps my research. On another note, I have begun to get really worried about the extreme drought we are having in Texas (but I am good at worrying and thinking of worst case scenarios). There is no real relief in site. We have begun mandatory water conservation. I also hope that my fellow Houstonians will actually try to conserve water in the home. I initially was worried about the foundation of our house, our oak trees etc. Now I am worried about running out of water, having to leave the state. This drought has me depressed to say the least.
  13. A friend of mine just picked one of these up. I was telling him that he might want to turn off 4g unless he needs it since it tends to use up battery life. We couldn't figure out how to do this. Have you figured out how to turn off 4g (and not turn off the radio completely)?
  14. I made the front page! Ok, well it is only the Village News and it was yesterday. http://edition.pages...3e4cb75c0&skip=
  15. All this speak of vermouth forced me to make myself a Manhattan.
  16. Forgot that one could order from Adorama - that would definitely be faster than direct from TT.
  17. There should always be room for some Carpano Antica (although I do wish they made a 750ml bottle).
  18. At this point, I would be quite happy to have a hurricane come through here. I feel like the kids in Holes. Red meat is good.
  19. Haj: It is probably too late but if you need it sooner, and you are looking for a S-M, I would be happy to sell/send you mine (I haven't used it, the pro speed belt, yet). I could send it usps priority tomorrow which could be there on Friday if you were lucky. I got a few more cocktail books in the mail today (and a Lightroom book).
  20. You can send some rain this way. UPS or Fedex ground is fine. Brent, I no nothing of what you speak but it doesn't sound fun. Wayne: The vinyl wrap sound like a great idea. Maybe you can make sure the neighbor's vinyl has lots of rats and maggots to go with the junk.
  21. I don't think my husband would be too keen on this. @Colin: Please post pics of brisket when it finishes this fall.
