Although it was only 104 today (1 degree less than yesterday's 105 and 4 degrees cooler than some other parts of Houston), I pretty much stayed indoors. I wonder how much our electricity bill will be with almost everyday in August being above 100. Might need to sell some gear. At least I don't live in Austin where is reportedly hit 110 today! I remember taking my niece to the NE Aquarium. She was about 4 at the time - she really loved the penguins but kept yelling at them telling them not to fight. No need trying to keep yourself from looking ridiculous when you have kids.... there is really no hope.
