This! We get a lot of people driving into our neighborhood as well. I don't really mind. A lot of these people live in apartments and you can't really go trick or treating in apartment complexes. The kids seem to appreciate the candy. I like the really little kids the best. They are cute.

Jeez guys, sorry to hear about the snow and power outages. Hope you guys stay warm whatever way you can. Really sucks. We're actually having the best weather we've had in months (high of 72 today, I had to wear my fleece jacket).

Nice Greg, Mikey, Dan, Jacob, Al, and Mike. I went to the store to get some Mandarine Napoleon and Creole and they were all out of both! Right now I am having some bourbon with my sweet vermouth. 1 oz Vya sweet vermouth 1 oz Blanton's bourbon 1 dash Fee Bros Whiskey Barrel Aged bitters I really like the Vya sweet vermouth. Drinking it straight, I like it more than the Cocchi Vermouth di Torino.

Only half a ribeye since Tim and I always share one.

Waldorf #2 [Only made half the recipe.] Since it is finally fall today, thought I would make something seasonal. 2 oz Clear Creek Apple Brandy 1/2 oz Nux Alpina Walnut Liqueur 3 dashes of Fee Brothers Celery Bitters 2 slices of Honeycrisp apple Not my favorite drink - perhaps due to the celery bitters though. Will need to look for some more walnut liqueur recipes.

It's for the bomb shelter of course.

Thanks for the feedback on the PS500 Al. I may pick one up. I also want the Peak + Volcano but am hesitating to buy since I haven't heard it. I wish I would have listened to it at Canjam Chicago. The Pinnacle of course was amazing.

Yay for Springbank and Dreadnaught! Having some Clear Creek "Eau de Vie de Pomme" 8 Year Old Barrel-Aged Apple Brandy This stuff is very nice (and so much better than the Doran Calvados XO). I wonder how it compare to the Germain-Robin Apple Brandy.

That looks good. I just got back from having an awesome "rack of pork," butternut squash filled crepes, and malbec. It was really awesome.
