  1. Those drinks looks awesome Al, Marc, and Jim. Also, Jim is still the king of garnishes! Just had a bit of Rittenhouse 25yr Rye, it did not suck.
  2. Shouldn't one always do this, even with pizza. This reminds me that I need to buy another pizza stone (for those times when we have guests that also want to eat).
  3. Thanks guys. It is indeed a nice pairing. The HD800's are fantastic out of the Peak. Greg: You are correct, Reidel. You can never have enough lead in your life.
  4. Looks great Mike! Al, I wish I could try all those cocktail but will probably have to wait a while. For me: Apex & Apex! (That setup is temporary.)
  5. Never thought about using the pizza stone for baking bread.
  6. Nice pics Jeff.
  7. Happy Bithday Dinny!!!!!!
  8. Sorry to hear about the FFF event Mike. I needed reviving. Corpse Reviver #2 I almost forgot how awesome this drink is!
  9. You will have to tell us how you like it, three times.
  10. Sucks Jeff, sounds like Really Slow Stuff.
  11. You could say that.
  12. Jealous of all the FFFers.
  13. I like the sound of that.
  14. Got my HD800's back from a local HF friend of mine and tried his Shure SE535's. Those are quite nice IEMs. Also got out the 6SN7 tubes from the SP Extreme that blew up to do some tuberolling in the Peak/Volcano. Got the Ken Rad VT-231 in right now. Nice.
  15. Panasonic Viera TC-L32C3 32-Inch lcd tv and Apple TV for the downstairs bedroom (where I will probably be stuck much of the time next week).
  16. Yay Mike. I would call dibs on the ZD but I already have too many amps.
  17. Bonal and Rye!!! Yum.
  18. Good luck with Libby's ear 2x ear infection Haj. Seriously, sorry to hear about the surgery Al. I know how you feel. Sucks that there isn't a better option.
  19. Caipirinha with dinner. Trying to figure out what to make next.
  20. Ok, that is good to know. I'll keep my fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong (that I cannot fix) before I am ready to upgrade.
  21. My mom called me up the other day to let me know that her early 2008 15" Macbook Pro (my old computer) wouldn't turn on. The screen was black. Of course, the warranty had run out in April! I pretty much figured out immediately that the crappy (NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT) video card had died like many others have. Luckily, I searched and found out that Apple would fix this problem free of charge for up to 4 years after the computer was purchased. So my mom was able to take it to the Apple store and get it back the next day no questions asked. Phew. I am a little worried that the same problem will happen again though (since presumably, they use the same video card when they replace the old ones).
  22. We are not here to serve you, go away.
  23. ^I like teufelshunde's post better.
  24. This. RIP.
