I am definitely returning it... It was "fulfilled by amazon" so there is no problem.

Went to the new Apple Store in Houston today to get a smart cover for the ipad3. This store is right across the street from the grocery store I shop at which could be quite dangerous! Also, I am now completely convinced that smart cover I bought on amazon marketplace was a fake. Why don't I ever learn?

I need to get case. Right now, mine is naked. I bought an "Apple" Smart Cover from Amazon marketplace but I think there is a good chance that it is a fake so I am sending it back. Maybe I will head over to the new Houston store (not in the mall and right next to the grocery store I shop at - yay!!!) tomorrow. It might be a little crazy considering the grand opening was today.

Just got the Ipad3 up and running. Like the screen. Now let's hope the wifi coverage is better than that on the ipad1 - that is what I really want.

I thought amazon charged sales tax in NY. I don't see a problem with buying from amazon as long as it isn't some 3rd party seller. You can purchase Apple Care anytime in the first year.

Looks like I bought an ipad3. Went to cancel my order online and it wouldn't let me (probably because I got my name engraved on it which was probably stupid).
