Haven't but I am really tempted. The only thing that is keeping me from getting it is that I already have a 35mm f/1.8 which is probably a better everyday focal length on a DX camera.

Not that I know of (if you want new, autofocus, Nikon brand, etc). If you want fast and cheap, I think you have to go with prime lenses. Please correct me if I am wrong. B&H has been out of the Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.4G for a while but just got some in if anyone is interested. I am trying to keep myself from buying one since I spent $1200 on a toilet today.

Fortunately, my finals don't come back until next Monday. So I get to put off grading til then. I think I better stick to the bike/elliptic/ergo/swimming until I lose a bit more weight.

Ran a mile today. Hip felt great but knees were not so happy.

Successfully replaced the blown tweeter on my AV123 X-SLS speaker (using the "new" Weller soldering station). Guess I'll use these with my old Marantz reciever in the bedroom and take the Audioengine 5 to the office.
