  1. Bacon Maple donut Good but would be better would a maple bar (and more bacon - I only had 1 slice after left after the BLTs). Will have to try another donut shop next time.
  2. I am going to buy the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 (I was going to get the Nikon 17-55mm but decided against it because of its size and I think the Sigma will be almost as good). I have always bought B&W MRC filters for almost all my other lenses but I am wondering if I should really be using a filter (since I keep a lens cap on the lens unless I am shooting). Filter or no filter? What do you do and why? Not counting polarizing or special filters, just everyday UV filters.
  3. Damn, Jacob, that sounds fucking fantastic! Birch beer is the awesome. Fax or pay the consequences!
  4. Cool! Although the fact that someone could go from 340 to 800 with tutoring and practice just reinforces my view that the SAT is a worthless test.
  5. Guess I can use the web browser til then.
  6. Tapatalk is still not working properly. For example, I can only see posts up to Jan 03 in the "drinking" thread and to 1/4/2011 in the cooking thread... Another weird thing (that pay have always been there) is that the date format for the drinking and cooking threads are different (one is Jan 03 with no year and the other is 1/4/2011).
  7. Tapatalk seems to be messed up. In some threads I can't see the most recent posts.
  8. Happy Birthday Gene! We love you and miss you!!!
  9. Don't know what most of that means but I like this.
  10. I would just like to point out that not only did my team kick Hook'em Horns' butt but so did my bench with 136 point. He he. Take that UT fan.
  11. The Brain Backpack is awesome and will hold a lot. It is also really rugged. I bought one a while back but it was just too big for my small frame. I would definitely recommend this. I know there are people who love the tough RedOxx stuff and I tried to (love them) but I just think the Tom Bihn stuff is much more thought out and I keep going back. I would suggest something like SuperEgo if you want to go with a one strap bag but with a large laptop, I personally would go with a backpack.
  12. Wish I could help you out but you'll have to call up the restaurant and get the recipe. There are quite a few recipes online. I think I'll try one at some point.
  13. Dr. Pepper braised beef short ribs with mole sauce, buttermilk grits, brussel sprouts and coffee crusted beets with blue cheese and orange viniagrette. With Flora Springs Napa cab. I am stuffed. It was good.
  14. What did you have before the D7000? D90? I don't remember (I guess that is obvious since I am asking).
  15. Yeah, I love the idea of better low-light shooting as well as more AF points.
  16. Ok Brent, let's pretend we live in an alternative universe where one can pick on one number. Does one pick door number 1 with the D7000 or door number 2 with the Sigma 17-50?
  17. I was thinking of getting a new lens but now I am thinking that maybe I should upgrade the D90 to a D7000 (they are $900 until Dec 15th at BH and other places) instead. I currently have D90 and Nikon 35mm f/1.8, Nikon 40mm f/2.8 macro, Nikon 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 VRII for everyday lenses. Here are my options. 1) Upgrade D90 to D7000 2) Get the Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 and use this instead of the 35mm f/1.8 as my everyday lens 3) Do nothing and stick with D90 + 35mm as my everyday lens
