  1. Maybe you've lived in TX too long Steve. Just kidding. The "cows" at the show were simply stunning, very beautiful creatures.
  2. Went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (actually we didn't go to the actual rodeo part, just the livestock show). It was too crowded. What we were thinking, going on a weekend?
  3. Tonight I had some flatbread with goat cheese, fresh tomatoes and carmelized onions (and I think garlic), and topped with a fried egg (over medium?) and a bunch of fresh arugula. I would have never thought of putting the arugula and egg on a pizza but it was fantastic! It could've only been better with bacon (and a second fried egg) and maybe some avocado.
  4. I am loving Breaking Bad but I have to twist hubby's arm to get him to watch it. He doesn't like it because (1) the separation/divorce stuff brings back bad memories (2) he dislikes all the characters except the son (there are no "good guys"). We have 2 episodes left of Season 4 to watch. Hopefully I canget him to watch them this weekend.
  5. This showing is getting more addictive by the season. It's going to suck when I finish all of them.
  6. Probably going to get the S4 (if it comes to Sprint). I desperately need a new phone but the GN2 is too large for the pockets in my shorts.

  8. Congrat to Al (and Mikey) on the weight loss. Also, that is great news about the blood pressure. Keep on exercising! It will make you healthier and happier (until you injure yourself and can't do much and become frustrated).
  9. Everyone seems to love Balsamic Vinegar but nobody seems to know anything about it. Where is Jacob when you need him?
  10. Today I decided to buy a slightly better Balsamic Vinegar than my usual: Leonardi "gold seal" It is fantastic. I know this isn't the super great fancy expensive stuff but it is still good. My read into balsamic is that the very expensive stuff is very sweet and only to be used for desserts. This seems to be pretty thick and sweetish with enough bite that it can still be used for salads with good olive oil. What is your favorite balsamic and what you use it for? I am now very curious about buying some "tradizionale" balsamic vinegar but don't know where to start. I guess I should find a place that has tastings.
  11. What program for bootable backups on Mac? Superduper or Carbon Copy Cloner or other? Can you use the same harddrive as the time machine backups (I think you can on superduper)?
  12. Shipped the PWD back to PS Audio for repair (luckily it is under warranty and they paid for the shipping!).

  14. I am very curious about the HRT stuff for some reason (Dusty's fault).
