I just had a flashback to when I worked at Sears during college. I actually convinced a cute-but-not-super-bright young lady that worked there that naugahyde was actually the hide of the Nauga, a close relative of the Platypus. She seemed to gain new appreciation for the material after that 😄. She was adorable.....
Thanks much for the Eric suggestion Steve. A lot to admire including the grand architecture of the story, even if many of its mechanics drove me crazy by the end. It’s another reminder how limited the goals are on most TV/film projects. This went big over always safely successful.
Have been playing around with amp boards, this time a pair of mono TPA3116D2 boards, driven by one of my pi-based streamer/DAC's. A little bright sounding, but I put this on and just remembered how great it is. Hannah Reid's voice is just so passionate! Recorded pretty well, too....
