Everything about this whole album is great, but I think I could listen to the saxophone part at 2:52 on infinite repeat and be content5 points

IMHO humans have very few things to be proud of. Our sexual intercourse preferences, our genre at birth, our skin tone, height, and facial features, our religion, our political opinions, our cultural roots and language, and even our material achievements and possessions shouldn't be among them. I believe and support that all humans should be considered equals, and respected, and should have the same opportunities and be considered the same in front of the law. We come from times that all that wasn't granted, and we live in times that all of it is not granted yet. As such it's wonderful that a part of the population that suffered prosecution and incarceration for their preference and inclination (yes, in my so free and tolerant country too, never forget Franco his 40 years of dictatorship and these other 40 years that seem democracy but still have the same people's sons and grandsons handling the reins) can openly show them. No one should judge if such preference was given at birth or elected, but I support that they can claim their rights, respect and to be considered equals. On the other hand I feel ashamed and deeply sad that we still need a parade and some sort of party celebration to demonstrate that most people are morons, that can't accept that we're not all the same and that diversity is part of our richness as species. It's not the same thing to be equals and to be the same.2 points

On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, I was on a boat. That I can confirm, arrived in San Francisco. Where there was a tech conference. Where AI was the buzzword du jour. I left a d-_-b prompt Hidden in plain sight Saw the tech they used to put on the show Call that a camera rig? And saw the filming of a spot, " live to tape" Can you tell the shiny presenters from the guests? I noticed a suspiciously named company, that DoTU, May need to restrain due to prior art. Maybe not. https://voltrondata.com/ Got some swag. And a SF choc ice from their marketing budget. It finished with a nerd party. That made me happy. Funnily enough, no one mentioned recent headlines. (Whatever you do, don't mention the data breach(es)) https://www.wired.com/story/snowflake-breach-advanced-auto-parts-lendingtree/ Saw Collin's San Francisco cousin. Then finished off my trip to the City by the bay by seeing sea lions. Lots of sea lions. Noisy buggers! PXL_20240607_003730227.mp4 All in all, a fun day out.2 points

Mozart: Violin Concertos, Vol. 2 by Francesca Dego (2022) https://album.link/i/1635576309 Example: Chandos kind of day... I have never been one to really go in for Mozart's super early Concertos, but here, contrasting the 1st and 2nd with the 5th really shows the growth factor, and I feel that the 5th shows him coming on-line as a composer. This version of the Allegro aperto I really liked. Sir Roger and the Scottish I feel give a great platform for Francesca to shine. A touch slow? yeah, but lovely expression.1 point

So that's what Al's brain matter looks like? Maybe you're not doing it right. Rubbing my tube definitely brings about noticeable changes.1 point

I know, Steve. The sad part is that after all these years, the motivation to celebrate and being proud isn't that much. I think that we should have a protest to claim for so many things that aren't right, that sexual/genre preference/orientation/practice isn't even an achievement to be proud of. Gay men and women still die. Minorities die. Poor people die... My point is that it shouldn't be celebrated as a parade but as a serious protest.1 point

Honestly, if I know their name I just use that to simplify. Using a plural pronoun in place of a singular pronoun is still difficult for me. I hope it's obvious that I have no gender bias, it's just overcoming years of schooling. Although 'shim' would also be difficult for me, because that's what I use to install windows and doors.1 point

In this modern times of many pronouns, where I sometimes lose track of the conversation due to "them/they," I look back and think we should have taken Divine's pronoun to self-describe: Shim. She/Him.....1 point
