There's nothing about this post that doesn't make my heart melt. The idea that Esme doesn't have to live in her own head makes me joyful! I felt like a fraud in my own family until my early 20s. It's absolutely amazing that today parents can be intellectually, emotionally and physically supportive. I'm not sure if you fully understand how much you're contributing to the mental health of your child. I had so many friends completely abandoned by their parents, and their mental health suffered immeasurably. Happily that was not the case with my own parents, but it was still a rockier road to travel. I applaud you both! Be strong Esme, and be you!8 points

Hello Sonoma! Sonoma Sundays on the plaza With Maria Muldaur As an 81 year old lady, she can still sing the blues, but asks us to be present and put away our phones, cameras and video's and pay attention as "She's trying to work over here" . I can only respect her wishes. After a rockin' hour and a quarter set she's taking a well deserved break, before doing the same again. As I said to Joanne, this audience makes you feel young 😉 She has quite a repertoire of other people's songs, but she sang one of her few self penned numbers, from the pandemic. We should all be lucky enough to have so much life in us, at her age. Her red hot Louisiana blues band are not too shabby either.2 points

Hacks (HBO Max) - the creators of this show have managed to not only maintain, but actually improve the quality of this show with a great season 3 overall. And the scene in the last ep, where Ava confronts Deborah about the head-writer job, is nothing short of fantastic for any acting medium (Whew!).2 points

And then in the second set they did the "big three" Including A song about a camel that's now celebrating its 50th anniversary. " It's been good to me, I hope it was good for you"1 point

As promised, I divested myself of the Canon 28-90. I made some attempts to use the Canon 35-80mm F/4-5.6 III, which is slightly less bad but still awful. Color transmission and contrast are both lacking. Distortion is present, but far less so than the 28-90. The MV museum's parking lot. 35-80 @ 64mm, F/18, which is probably well into diffraction territory. I worked this image over pretty thoroughly in Luminar 4 and Photoshop. A few feet back, also 64mm and F/20 which is ...excessive. EDIT: Hours later. One goddamn wrong link fixed. Sweetened Water Farm, across from my house. Golden hour sun. Less editing than one might think (contrast enhancement mostly). 80mm, F/18. That famous little shack, which is one of my regular test subjects. 35mm, F/14. Much work done in Photoshop correcting distortion, boosting contrast and colors. That's probably it for me and the 28-80. It manages to suck less than the 28-90, which is damnation with the faintest of praise. Tune in next time when I take the Nifty Fifty to the famous Lucy Vincent Beach and the Gay Head Cliffs (yes, that's really their name.)1 point

Nothing like beating a joke to death. I showed the above meme to some normie friends of mine. They more or less all thought that the darTZeels were among the ugliest pieces of electronics they'd ever seen. One pointed out that "dartzeel" is an anagram for "zed alert." That gave me an idea. New DLC for KF1 just dropped! Don't tell @MexicanDragon0 points
