  3. Vadim Neselovskyi - Odesa Another jazz album that made the top 2022 lists and that I hadn't listened to. To me a lot more enjoyable than TCIC's one. This one is not classic jazz by any means, it's rather lyrical and has very interesting moments. The pianist is virtuosoborderline.

  4. This is one of those things that some people say that is jazz, or nu.jazz... whatever. I had to listen to it despite I didn't like their previous output, for it receiving accolades and making many "best of" lists. The Comet is Coming - Hyper-Dimensional Expansion Beam If you like Ornette Coleman and such you might enjoy it.

  5. normally I would be happy to help, but I am at my parents and don't have access to a mini T2 to measure until I return to my home. im not sure of your level of experience, so my apologies if some of this is obvious 0. be aware working on a powered amp exposes you to the risk of electric shock and you should only be doing this if you know how to be safe and have a good quality multimeter. 1. I would build and check the psu is working without it connected to the amp. I assume you have build golden reference high voltage supplies. Advice on these can be found on the thread for the gr hv. 2. before i would think about powering the amp board I would carefully inspect the solder joints looking for bad joints and solder bridges with a handheld magnifier or better a microscope. 3. I would verify as far as possible the component placement, orientation vales are correct. If you have a set of very fine spring loaded probes like those sold by probe master you can check for continuity/shorts between components referencing the schematic. 4. i would strongly suggest that testing is initially done on using variac and slowly bringing up voltages to their normally working levels, measuring psu rails and looking out for smoke, bad noises etc. 5. i would strongly suggest using cheap valves for initial power ons until you are confident the amp is stable and working correctly. 6. I would monitor the dc offset (dc voltage between + audio output and ground) and dc balance (dc voltage between - audio output and + audio output) 7. I would not think about connecting expensive headphones until I have put in some audio test signals and looked at the output on a oscilloscope and had the amp running for at least a few hours. 8. if you have a temperature probe, its also worth measuring the transistor case temperatures and the temps of any high wattage resistors.. if you still need specific voltages I should be able to help after jan 9th good luck

  6. Phew... couple of days already finishing up the final wiring, setup and calibration of my CNC router. Ended up with a 2.2kW 400Hz water cooled spindle on a 4 axis machine that is connected to a Mach3 system with two LPT cards fully automating spindle start/stop, water pump start/stop for cooling, air cooling for the cutter, etc. Very happy for now how everything goes together. Need to fabricate a heavy duty cabinet for it holding all the electrical stuff and computer below the machine with some drawers as well for the cutting tools, fixtures, vacuum pump and water tank as well. Going to keep me busy for some time.

  7. Thanks a lot, guys! I’ve had a terrific and quiet Birthday time with my wife and eldest grandchild - after a "hectic" Christmas celebration with our two children and their families with a half dozen grandchildren.

  21. It’s a balanced board. Inputs in center. Outputs at far right and far left. Positive rail at top edge and negative rail at bottom. Dynahi boards mounted to 80 mm x 300 mm heat sinks. Here I’ve removed upper screws holding front and back plates to heat sinks and then “unfolded” for maintenance. To make it possible to unfold the wires are made “to long” when folded and then it looks like a snake nest. This is an Only DIY version, not to be sold... I hope this makes it a bit clearer.
