Very not proggy
Let Go (20th Anniversary Edition)
Avril Lavigne

Example:
She's 20 years older - not me...
She could belt and there are hooks all over this album. I knew the first 5 songs off the top of my head, and I don't even listen to Avril that I can think of.
Also,
Top Gun: Maverick (Music From The Motion Picture)
Hans Zimmer

Working over old material here - but still good music. Looks like TIDAL does not have rights to Kenny Loggins yet, so that that is a Fail!
Madman Across The Water (Deluxe Edition)
Elton John
1971

Example (demo):
I have enjoyed the demos and some other live tracks. I probably won't listen to them much, but fun that they are there. The standard album tracks are just so good.
Some fun memories rehashed here!! Old Sci-Fi grooviness!
BTW, I agree with you Steve, those concave Focal Tweeters on earlier Wilson speakers were way too bright. Even after they went with some dome tweeters, they made a move to metal dome and it screwed up the sound again.
Now they are back to fabric dome, sounds much better. But still not worth the $.
Focal has kept the concave tweeter, but they have improved the hell out of it IMO....

Example:
I have been listening to this (what I would call an EP - only 20 min) many times over the last two weeks. The looping and overall aesthetic is really appealing to me. I like it better than a lot of things from her breakout album "Our Hands Against the Dusk".
Long overdue update.
I ended up sending my panels to Kent at Electrostatic Solutions 2 years ago.
Cost was very reasonable, Kent gave me detail instruction on how to put the panels back and connect everything back up.
I also took detail picture and notes as well before sending them off. It was about 3 weeks turn around.
Spoke to Kent on advice in regards to proper amp to power them, safety mod etc.
The stock safety circuit resistor 2W 12Ohm needs to be swapped with 10W 12Ohm to prevent the panels from arching.
Causing holes in the panel's membrane.
Tube amp are best to drive them due to the speaker impedance curve.
Kent mention he uses the ARC REF300 300 watts to drive his F81 and F83 (Basically 2x F81 stacked 3db louder lol)
He can achieve 98-100dB peaks before clipping about the limit of the F81 design.
I'm using a Primaluna Premium amp 8x KT100 which output about 100watts. I get about 92db peak.
The speaker are very touchy with placement. but are absolute divine once position correctly.
Can listen to them for hour with no fatigue what so ever.
I never was a big fan of Wilson. The tweeter on Wilson and most Focal stuff wasn't my cup of tea.
Hands down best large speaker I've ever heard was the Infinity IRS that I heard in the early 80's
But my favorite speaker that I could actually live with was the Sonus Faber Extrema.
This is all from memory of course. I've never compared either with any modern speaker.
