  1. My Google Analytics brought me here. Glad you're enjoying the recording! I recorded it with just a single stereo pair... one for each ear This is my first time here, but it seems like a really active community! So, who recognises the headphones used on the recording session in this pic: http://elswhr.co/blog/photos-from-lumiere-recording-session - this is probably one of the few forums where I could expect 100 correct answers! Ha ha! If only I still had my Stax Omega - I bet this album would sound gorgeous on those...

  4. After driving people around on the east coast of the island all day and being reminded how hellaciously steep some of the hills were out there and how poor some of the roads were I decided that the planned long ride needed to be less epic and dropped it down to 2500 ft of climbing in 38 miles: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/3725142 Still should be an awesome ride tomorrow morning. Wish us luck as it's my father in law's longest ride to date but I doubt that will be an issue (he's super fit) and I still have a tennis ball sized welt on my hip.

  6. Hi, Douglas, welcome to the forum. I feel the need to put this out there -- I love your and Mira's approach to arranging. And: sweet, it's a binaural recording? I hadn't listened to it on headphones yet. (Sorry.)

  9. We have been adopted. This is Donut. He walked into our yard out of the clear blue whatever about three weeks ago, just like Enigma did fourteen years ago. We asked around, posted found cat posters, checked the internet, had him checked for a microchip, put a collar with a note on him - all the things we did with Enigma - and nobody stepped up to take responsibility for him. Apparently, the poor guy was just dumped at the end of our street. He's moved into a guest kitty suite in the garage now and we took our second trip to the vet today. He passed all his blood tests and is cleared to move into the house when he is ready. So I guess now he's officially family.
